I am so excited by this I just wanted to sing it from the mountains! My son had a horrible yeast diaper rash - fire red, bleeding, peeling, hurts to look at rash. A friend of mine gave me Gentian Violet to use and it cleared it up OVERNIGHT! I've fought yeast with other kids for what seemed like ever, and this stuff is a miracle. How I didn't know about this stuff with my first 3 is beyond me, but I'm so glad I know it now. If you use it, beware though it stains everything - including their bums.

And now for my question - what is your favorite surprise cure you've found as a mama?

What can I do next?

Lol... NOT that one! (my son is violently allergic to it, he practically started gushing blood on the spot! Everywhere it touched huge bleeding blisters formed in under a minute). But rx lotramin cream had his bum peachy in hours. Between 3-6. Whatever works! No one wants their privates on fire and bleeding!!! Bad. Very. Very. Bad.

Similarly (can you tell we battled yeast infections, also?

Papertowels!!! :) :) :) About 1/10th the cost of wipes, and the tap makes warm water, and voila! Clean bums! No yeast infections (from wipe allergy, and the more hypoallergenic the worse his reaction was... we fought yeast infections for MONTHS before we figured out the paper towel trick). A roll goes in the car with a water bottle and it's wipes anywhere! Or folded in a ziplock! LOVE paper towels. I just KICKED myself for ever buying wipes to begin with.

Hot chocolate. Specifically hershey's chocolate syrup and whole milk. Pour, squirt, stir, zap... INSTANT fix. (hypoglycemic kid)

I know that apple cider vinegar can be helpful for yeast infections, and no staining either!

Yup and it treats thrush as well! But baby will have a purple mouth and if you are bf'ing well you'll be purple too!

Also love california baby diaper rash cream, cloth diaper safe (so it's not all greasy and nasty like the others) and it's naturally treats yeast as well.

and here's one, vicks, the old school greasy stuff in the tub, on the bottom of feet with socks to cure a cough. Strange but true.
