We are going tubing with 4 of his friends for his birthday. I thought it would be fun to come up with a winter/snow themed gift idea to give all of them. So I am hoping someone has some creative ideas for me. Thanks mommas!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I opted for the individual bottles of snow paint and they loved them! By the way the kids had a blast...I highly recommend it! We did pizza and hot cocoa afterwards.

Snow man makings. A carrot, a few pieces if coal, a couple of branches maybe a funny hat from a thrift shop --- just add snow.

Pinterest is your friend. If it were me, I'd probably keep things simple and package some white gumballs or M&Ms in cute containers and label them as snowballs.

What a fun idea for a party — that makes me envy those of you who live in places where you actually get enough snow for these things. :-)

Squirt bottles with food coloring. Fill the squirt bottle with water and a few drops of food coloring and spray it in the snow to "paint" the snow :-)

What is your budget? With only 4 kids plus the birthday boy to buy for, could you actually get them each a snow tube? Our Aldi in KS has them on sale for $6.99 right now. That might be way more than you were hoping to spend, though.

I just made goodie bags for 25 kids for my son's party last week. Not a winter theme or anything but the little whoopie cushions from Target (4 in a pack) were a hit!

What about getting some gloves or hats? You can probably find some at Target or Wal Mart for a good price. What about doing a bag filled with all the things to make a snowman? Kinda silly but fun! You could also do a bag filled with a few hot cocoas, some marshmallows, and a plastic spoon. If your budget allows you could do a cool mug or something too.

Packets of hot cocoa! Maybe a fun mug to go with it. Snowman accessories (you can get some inexpensive fleece to make scarves or get them at the dollar store along with buttons) would be fun.

If you are going to go back to your house after we love to have hot chocolate and stir it with a candy cane to make it minty (and fun) at our house.

Future Hockey Mom--what do hockey players need? Get that! I also like the snowtube or inexpensive sled idea.
