My son's Jr. High is requiring that the kids have a mesh backpack. They are made completely of a net material that you can see through. I have searched everywhere and can't find them except online. Does anyone know of a store that sells these kind of backpacks? I want one that is very sturdy.(like the brand Jansport) Thanks
They are almost everywhere, you can find them at Target, Walmart, Ross, or even online.
Well the next day after posting my question I went over to my son's school school to pick up his scedule. I stopped by the book store. The lady there told me that I could find the Jansport mesh backpack at the VF Factory Outlet on Power and Baseline for only $12. An awesome deal. Online they were $25+ SHIPPING!!They have black, navy blue and pink. The pink ones are only $8. The store is located inside just across from the main store. It as a huge red backpack hanging above it.
Don't want to get your hopes up too high, but I've seen Jansport mesh backpacks, just not in this area. I was living in California at the time, about 3 years ago. Could check out a store like REI, or a shop that specializes in surf wear.
Hi- you can go on-line or Visit the Store Tilly's - they are having $5 off their Jansport Backbacks right now - maybe try Ross and Target and Marhalls too? they have ALOT of Backpacks at SAVER's and if its mesh you can just wash it and let it air dri and its fine and you'll spend about $2.99 !! good luck!! I actually found one at Wal-Mart for my oldest son. wasn't looking for a mesh one but found one. Its has a camoflague print to the mesh. It seems to be very sturdy. It was only $15.00. Hope that helps some. Good luck
I am not sure where you live but I saw some at the VF Factory yesterday off Power Rd and Baseline(SE corner go in entry #5 it is the closest to the store) in Mesa. They have all Jansport bags and they are marked down atleast 50% off retail tags so most are priced 14.99-19.99. I usually buy my kids backpacks there each year.
I have seen them at Target in the summer in the area by the purses but they are more for women. You can try a sporting goods store. Good luck.
try sports authority or REI. even sports chalet. i bought some years ago. they do hold up well. nike, jansport, reebok all make them.
