I have had experience thinking that I was getting to my resume for free and then at the end of it, they asked me for my credit card number. What is a site that lets you do your resume for Free....I just don't have time to type in my whole resume and then pay!

You should have one in your Word or Pages program - depends on if you have a PC or Mac. Click on 'new' for a document and a template window should drop down or open. There will be a resume(s) template to work from. Good luck!
are you sure you dont already have one programmed into your pc? Go to start, search, and type in resumes.
Template is easy:
name and address on top
Skills and or Objective
then list your jobs from newest to oldest and education/certifications are last.
If you google resume template or sample resume you can view resume sample formats.
I have been doing professional resumes on the side for a number of years. What I have found is that bullet points under the job title listing your duties helps the potential employer quickly scan your resume for the info they need. Listing skills (data entry, customer service, MS Office etc.) instead of an objective is preferred. The objective is no longer needed. Keep it to 1 page and you only need to list your last 3 jobs or last 7 years of employment. Anything else pertinent should be included in the cover letter. My resumes have an excellent success rate, the last 6 I have done all resulted in jobs.
