I created a cute calendar for my husband's birthday this past February. Shutterfly lets you make great calendars, mouse pads, etc... with pics. You can upload some of your fave pics of your little boy and put one for each month. There are some neat features - and it even lets you put in special dates for the year, like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. It's really easy to use their program, and we have always been very please with their products. Their photo books are really cute too!

I liked the idea of the two sided frame with your baby boy's picture on one side...but instead of the footprints on the other, maybe you can put a baby picture of your husband? Or if you can get a good picture of the two of them together to put on one side, and a Father's Day poem for the other. You can make one up or get oneThere is a very good site called personalizationmall.com that I like to use for these type of gifts.

If you could get a double 8x10 frame and put your baby's picture on one side and his hand prints and foot prints on the other side, I think it would be cute. For the picture you could dress him in your husband's favorite colors, favorite team jersey, baseball cap, or put something of your husband's in the picture for a prop. You could go to Kiddie Kandids at Baby's R Us and get the picture the same day. They can also add borders and messages to the picture...so you could say something like Happy First Fathers's Day, or something much more original :) For the hand prints and foot prints, you could use colors that match the picture. Just an idea. Good luck!

On my husbands frist Father's Day I made my him a stepping stone with "I Love You Daddy 2005" and my sons handprints with some mosaic. He LOVED it and wants one every year. Last year I had my second son just before father’s day and it had both sets of prints with "Father’s Day 2006" and some pretty rocks. This year I am just going to do one hand from each of them and write "Daddy is My Hero 2007" :-)

They are fun for the kids and nice to look back on later!

Good Luck!

Last year was my hubby's first father's day, and I ordered him a golf towel with the twins picture on it. I dressed the twins up in outfits of his favorite sports team and then used it for the towel. He loved it so much that he still keeps it on his golf bag to show off the kids to friends on the course. I ordered it from www.snapfish.com and they also had lots of other neat and inexpensive things like that. Good luck! :)
