What Happened to Cotton and Company?

I need a new nursing bra. The one I have is seen better days. So I went by Cotton and Co. on College in Rockridge where I got the first one and their closed! Where do I go no to get a good nursing bra? Also I really liked the lady there who sized me to the one I am wearing. She was very knowledgeable. Does anyone else know of a store that carries larger sizes in nursing bras, places like Target don't have big enough sizes.

Thanks
K.

www.birthandbaby.com is a wonderful resource. They let you try them on, return them, & help you find the right size. It's also a mom run company :)

I don't know what happened to C&C but I got my nursing bras at The Nurture Center in Lafayette. Depending on where you are it's a quick drive over the hills, and the staff there is very helpful. Red Hill exit or something like that. I think Waddle & Swaddle in North Berkeley is supposed to be good, too, though I believe it's a smaller selection. Good luck.

The owner of the store retired, so she closed the doors. It is sad indeed - a great store. Many new walkers bought their first shoes there! You should check out www.glamourmom.com. they have great nursing tank tops that are versatile enough to wear under a shirt during colder weather and alone as a tank top when it's warmer. I love the ones I have.

Good luck,
Jen

Try Baby World on Telegraph in Oakland.

I went there for nursing stuff and the ladies (owners) there are great. They provide great customer service!

Try Fashion After Passion in Alameda - they moved so make sure to call and get the new address. They don't answer the phone too often but should have it on the recording. You can also call the Nurture Center in Lafayette to ask them but my guess is that Fashion After Passion is your best bet.

Motherwear is the best! They have been around for years and carry everything in a wide range of sizes and styles. I ordered from their catalog (this was back in the mid-nineties) but now they have a fantastic website: www.motherwear.com
