Anyone have experience with WW while BF? I have 7 months give or take to get this stinking weight off but I am BF my daughter who is 8 weeks. I know they wont let you join online if BF but you can join a meeting.

What can I do next?

K.,
I did it, and it really did work. They give you a few more points ti account for the calories burned by breastfeeding. But everyone is different. I say give it a try. They will help you in the meetings if you have any problems. Plus WW requires that you eat your 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, and drink all your water. Probably better than I would have done without it.

Hope this helps.

I know a friend who did it and it worked like a charm its a very healthy way (if you follow the program) to loose whght while BF.

I signed up when I was preggers and I told them when I was paying that I was pregnant and they said nothing then I got into the meeting and mentioned it and they told me I could not be in the plan... I was so ticked off and they would not give me my money back I felt like I was scammed into giving them my money (I paid like 200.00 upfront for a package ticket thing for the meetings) any way... they wont be getting my money again... I never went back and never used the meeting tickets because I was too busy after the baby was born because he was born with major health issues and we had to go to the hospital weekly and deal with them daily so what a waste of money and they expired by the time I could actually go to the meetings... My dr was the one who told me to do WW while pregnant because it is a healthy way... he said you are supposed to add 500 calories a day to the plan while pregnant and BF.

anyway, this is the first time I have really let it out and its been 4 years so I feel better now that i have gotten that off my chest. :o)

I ended up only gaining 24 pounds during my pregnancy and then with my next one (who is now 2) I only gained 10 pounds total and my baby weighed 8 lbs 13 oz and was 21.5 inches. so doing it on my owned proved fine as well... I ate lots of apples and peanut butter and slim fast protien bfast bars and optima shakes...Sorry to ramble....

Good luck

You can join online now - there is a nursing option. You get plenty of food to eat. Good luck! I love WW

I did it, but I also did Jenny Craig and it was so much easier for me. I like having my food laid out for me and no decisions to make. The food is awesome, too. You can do weight watchers you just add 10 points a day. Make sure you drink lots of water and add a dairy per day. If you feel your milk supply going down you can take a natural supplement called Fenugreek. It's great. You can read about it on la leche league's website. I am very careful about what I put in my body especially while nursing. Good luck!
