We Just Found Out We're Having Another BOY!!!! YEA!!! NEED Names input....PLEASE
We just found out Friday evening of last week that we are expecting our second little man. We're so very excited! My husband chose the Kidsline: Zanzibar nursery bedding set. I wanted Leap Froggie, but naturally since he was so enthralled with that particular bedding, I decided to allow him to choose.
Our first son's name is:
Dylan James Douglas
(two middle names is a tradition in my family. Mine is Savannah Lori Lee)
We have narrowed our name choices down to two, but neither one of us can choose which of the two we like best. So we're kind of polling.
Stryker Jefferey Gerald (Jeff-Hubby's brother, Gerald- Hubby's father)
Devin/Devan/Deven Jefferey Gerald
Please tell me which name you prefer, if you choose Devin, please tell me which spelling you like best. My hubby likes, Devin, I prefer Devan so that it is not one letter off of devil. Just my own thoughts I guess.
Thanks in advance for your input :0)~
Savannah

I like both names, but I would suggest going with Stryker. Since you already have a Dylan, I think Devon would sound too similar and cause some confusion, both for you(saying the wrong name) and for the kiddos (Is she calling Me or Him?).
Congratulations!

I like Devin but how about spelling it Devon. My friend has a boy named Devon and that's how he spells it. Just a thought. :)

Dylan and Devan would be difficult when one is in trouble and you're trying to holler at him!! lol My Gramma named all five of her kids with the first letter M, then helped name me with an M, so when she got mad at us, she'd go through the list to get to the right one...Mat, Mike, Mitch, Mel, Missi, Michelle... I like Stryker because it's not common today. My first two had common names, Brandon & Tyler. My last three are Faith, Alanna, and Marvin (family name, he's the III). I'd stick with Devan if you choose that name.

I would go for Devan Jeffery Gerald. I'm with your about the spelling being too close to devil with Devin - I think that would always bother me.
Best wishes for your growing family!

I'd go with Devin it matches Dylan and sounds good.
Stryker sounds like something you do when you go bowling. He might get made fun of or something. It just seems like a easy name to make fun of. -just my opinion though!

Not a huge fan of the name Stryker (I tend to prefer the more "traditional" names I guess).
My preference is Devin. :)
Hope this helps! And congrats on baby #2! I also have 2 little boys, and while it's challenging, it's also really neat to see their relationship.

Congrats on the baby! I think both names are wonderful. Who cares what peope think. Naming a child is so personal and up to you and your husband. People can be so intimidating when it comes to your childrens names. I knew in my heart which names I liked and when we had our son we knew then what his name would be. I love Stryker!!!!
