I know everyone is different but I'm growing impatient! Just wondering what your experiences were. So, after stopping your last pack of bc pills, how long until you ovulated? How long did it take you to get pregnant?
With my first, I stopped taking the pill in mid-June (after 15 years, non-stop), had one period and was pregnant by the beginning of August. With my second, I stopped in early June (after 11 months), again had one period and was pregnant by the end of July.
I am not exactly sure how I would know because I could ovulate but not get pregnant, ya know? With number three I went off in June and tried and got pregnant in August. With number four I went off in April but we didn't try to get pregnant until August and got pregnant in August. So who knows....
Before number three I was on them for eight years, number four a year ish.
When I stopped the pill it took a couple months to get pregnant. I had been on them for a loong time too. Good luck!
With my first, I went off the pill in Jan and waited until 6 weeks passed as per my drs suggestion and the second period I got I was pregnant. With my second, I went off the mini pill in Nov and didnt get pregnant til the beginning of June

I ovulated around 10 days after stopping the pills and got pregnant. He's 6 years old now!
I had an IUD for 6 years & just had it removed in November. We ended up pregnant within the first 2 months. So it really depends on your body. After my first son it took me 9 years to have another child. Good luck & don't stop trying.
I was on BC pills for 18 years, got pregnant the first month I was off of them. That ended in an early miscarriage, however. But got pregant again within two months the next time. I was 40.
My 26 year-old stepdaughter took a year and a 1/2 to get pregnant after going off the pill, however. We are all different.
you should add how long they were on it. i was under the impression if it was J. a few years it wouldnt change anything. i got pregnant within 2 months
I got off the pill 2 months before we started trying. We tried for a week straight in Rome (march) and in April I found out I was pregnant. I'm about to start trying again so I will do the same thing.
