Trying for a Girl - WaKeeney, KS

We had three boys and decided to try one more time for a girl - we had twin boys!! My husband got his basketball team. We do have three beautiful granddaughters along with seven grandsons. Good luck - I hope you and your husband have a baby girl, but those boys are always special, too.

This question has been posted numerous times. There are methods to try, but none are foolproof. I have four boys and we tried to a girl each time! Good luck!

Nope, I got three boys and I love them to pieces!!

I heard that the Kabbalah has a discussion of how to time the male vs. female orgasms in order to determine the sex of a child.

I wanted another girl for my third child. So here's the info I researched and tried it all, in the end I got my girl. You always take top,if you don't already start frying more foods, let him drink a beer after work everyday. Have lots of sex with condoms when you're not ovulating. The BEST time to try is when you have a discharge that is stretchy and thick. This is the best time to conceive. I also read to douche before you try. This will help the girls to survive better than the boys, but since I've already had stage 1 cervical cancer I don't use douches. So that last one is up to you. Good Luck.

We had three boys and then "accidentally" had a girl! So, I don't know what to tell you. She was a nice surprise, but honestly, I loved having three boys too.

We have 3 kids the oldest 2 are boys, our youngest is a girl, so it can happen. I will tell you that I have a friend with 5 boys and no girls, and I have a friend who has 4 kids, with 3 boys, and they had their youngest one as a girl. I think it depends on how bad you want it and when you are willing to stop. 3 would have been all we had, if there had not been a girl, we would not have had any more any way.

Good luck to you! There's nothing wrong with "trying" for a certain sex...as long as you'd be happy with a 3rd boy if you get one!
My mother-in-law always wanted a little girl.
She had 3 boys and would have had more if my father-in-law said OK. Now she has her first and only grandchild who is a little girl and she's loving it! She says it's even better than having her own becuase she can spoil her rotten, shop for her (and eventually with her) and do all the "girly" stuff, but hand her back over when she gets cranky or especially when she hits her teens! LOL
You just never know how things will come around!
But in the meantime...enjoy "trying"!

I would recommend the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility," it has a small section on how to try for a girl or boy, and helps you track your ovulation on your own. It worked for me, I have a beautiful little girl.

My kids are boy girl boy girl. The last two I did try all the tricks I could find because I wanted boy girl again.

Boys are faster swimmers and girls live longer so the theory is know when you are ovulating and have sex 24 hours or so before. In theory the boys will have died by then. It is also said that girls grow faster than boys so frequent sex causes you to have a lower boy count in the (well whatever you want to call it).

I am sure my last boy girl was dumb luck.

Hi J., I wish you the best of luck with getting that little girl. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and have 3 boys 13,10 and almost 6. We also have a wonderful perfect little daughter who is 3. Even if you try and receive the blessing of another boy the joy is well worth it, but don't be discouraged from trying for the fear of not conceiving that girl. We have 3 other families at our school with 3 boys and 1 girl and then another friend of ours had 3 boys and then added 1 more boy. No matter what, the child is a blessing and you will love him or her without a doubt in your mind.
