My baby still gets up 3 times a night, and after 12 weeks of this I look like a train wreak! Can anyone recommend an undereye cream that really helps with wrinkles and dark circles? I'm tired of wasting money on the grochry store stuff that doesn't make any difference. Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

Benefit has a cream called "eye-con" that is great - you also only need a tiny bit. I also swear by their
"Boi-ing" concealer. You can get it at Sephora (in Beachwood) or online (benefit.com, sephora.com)

I feel for you. Luckily my baby girl who is now 5 months started sleeping through the night right at 3 months. Just in time for me to go back to work. I know I wouldn't have made it if I would've been getting up that much. Anyway, BeautiControl has wonderful products for that sort of thing. My best friend who is due with her first child (a girl) in July sells it. You can order it off her webpage http://www.beautipage.com/phillipst Hope this helps!!

Wow! Alot of responses!
I have been a customer of a wellness company for over a year now and use a product from Nicole Miller. It works great!! I had the same train wreak look thanks to my son getting up all the time also! I dont know about the other products from Mary K or Avon, but the Nicole Miller line is completely natural and very effective.

Hi J.,

My heart goes out to you for being so tired! I remember those days! Just know that it will get better. As far as an eye cream goes, I understand how you feel. I felt the same way about wasting time and money on products that either didn't work or contained ingredients that would irritate my skin. What I have found is a product that I am passionate about and absolutely love! Why? Because it's not just another skin care line, but rather a skin health line. The first and ONLY patented skin line that is self-preserving and cost effective. Talk about going "GREEN"! I encourage you to do your research and check it out at www.dglosser.usana.com and click on Sense!

Hope you find what works best for you!

Blessings,
D.

I am a consultant with the Body Shop at Home. I wanted to let you know that we have several different kinds of eye cream. The one that sounds like it would be best would be our wise woman eye cream. This line of facial care is intended for more mature skin and let me tell you from experience that babies and no sleep can mature your skin very quickly. Our company was based on an amazing set of core values, Against animal testing, support community trade, activate self esteem, defend human rights, protect our planet. The products are as natural as possible to have a shelf life and I think they are amazing. There is a money back guarantee on the products so if you are not happy with them you can return them. My husband has had exzema on his face his whole life and has been to several doctors and noone could find anything that worked. He started using our aloe facial regime for sensitive skin and has been amazed at how good his face looks and feels. You can check out the products at www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/aoaks. We were just voted top in natural skin care by working mother magazine.
good luck,

LOL ahh life with kids! I have 3 little ones and some still getting up during the night. My oldest always wants to climb into our baby just after I fall asleep. Well last weekend I went to a seminar with a makeup artist. She has been doing the biz for 23 yrs! WOW I learned so much about make up and skin care! It was down in Delaware OH. lol I have been involved in skin care since I was little thanks to my moms biz! I learned all my life. I recommend Arbonne as did the make up artist! Here is her site first off http://www.iyinow.com/index.asp?myid=4622 Second don't use Preparation H use a good progestrone cream. The make up artist (Krista Embry) said they have used preparation H but found that progestrone cream has longer lasting effects and isn't as bad for your skin. Arbonne has a natural progestonr cream that she recommended too! I was also told to use a conceler with a yellow tint, then put your foundation on over that. If they are VERY bad otherwise a fair conceler should be best!
After her classes some of us are working on getting some classes together to teach others. I know you near Columbus and I am up near Cleveland but I would love to come and show you everything. I can send you a sample of the Arbonne NutriMinC that she recommends to start with. Great skin care. My dark circle are looking great now thanks to this line! Here is arbonnes site www.arbonne.com They are botanically based and vegan certified. I will send you a message with my email and phone number. Please let me know how I can best help you!

Mary Kay soothing eye gel really does help with the puffiness. Use a "highlighter eyeshadow" to cover the dark circles.

Avon has two different eye treatments that REALLY work. The best for dark circles is the Anew Clinical Eye Treatment. It is in a white jar and has 2 different creams inside, one for the upper eye, and one for the lower. The lower really helps eliminate dark circles. You can go to avon.com to find a rep in your area or order online. No, I am not a rep but I do love the products. Good Luck!

Mary Kay has a wonderful product called Eye Revitalizer that rolls on (smooth, simple) -- it's made for dark circles & under eye puffiness. Sounds like exactly what you need! And Mary Kay has a 100% satisfaction guarantee -- satisfaction guarantee, not results gaurantee. Just let me know if you'd like me to hook you up! :)

Preparation H helps if your eyes are puffy underneath. You can see the results almost immediately! I have really dark circles under my eyes and I was told to use a conceler with a yellow tint, then put your foundation on over that. I found a concealer stick that's yellow. I think it's from Physician's Formula. I don't use it that much anymore, but when my dd was young I used it ALL the time. It really did work wonders. You can also go to the makeup counter at a department store like Macy's. They'll do a makeover for free. At least you'd get an idea of what you need, then you can go to the drugstore and apply their advice to reasonably priced products. :)

Hi J.,
I feel your pain! I have a 4 month old, and those first few months are the hardest! Physician's Formula has a yellow-tinted eye concealer that you can put on, before the regular concealer. It does a great job at hiding the circles. I don't know about creams. I have always purchased drug-store creams, but could never tell if my circles were getting better. I know the cream should contain vitamin K. As for your baby getting up 3 times a night, when baby wakes, are you able to just go in and pat baby back to sleep? I know you are probably more of a pro at mothering than I am, since this is my first and you have 3. My baby still wakes up probably at least 2 times at night. The first time he wakes, my husband will go in and re-swaddle him, or pat him back to sleep. The second time, I will feed him. Sometimes they say if you keep feeding them each time they wake it can create a pattern of nighttime waking. Good luck on getting rid of the circles! I'm working on mine too!

I didn't really read all of the responses on here so I don't know if anyone mentioned using cucumber slices. I used them for puffines from allergies and I leave them on for about 10 minutes or so. It seemed to work for me. And the coolnes feels good and its cheap!! Good Luck!

One things that will help with both energy level AND eye circles is WATER. STAY hydrated. A MINIMUM of half your body weight in ounces of water daily. That CANNOT include soda (need to eliminate that ALTOGETHER!) or caffeine, which depletes nutrients and dehydrates.
