Lifetime is great expecially since they have daycare. It's alittle annoying when the parking lot is full and you have to park really far away and I don't mind walking. But when it's 0 degrees or below and everyone made a resolution to work out, it gets crowded in the lot and at the gym. The classes are awesome depending on where you go. Sometimes the equipment isn't the cleanest but what can you do when so many people use the facility.

Loved it! They have childcare, just about every kind of exercise equipment you could ever want, usually a pool, and tons of fun classes which for me were the best part. Plus you get the magazine. If you can afford it, go for it!

We joined Lifetime about 3 years ago, when I was pregnant with my third child and it has been wonderful. The childcare area(which takes kids 6 weeks and up) is fantastic! There are lots of things for all ages to do. I love the classes that are available and I have even been able to use the spa without interuption and at no cost for a babysitter! In the summer, we spend about 3 or 4 days a week at the pool. It has been a great experience for us!!

I joined in December 2007 and love it. The staff is wonderful and the facilities are well maintained and very complete. I just started working with a personal trainer this week. I had a free assessment that was very helpful though I was horrified to learn that my "body age" is 8 years older than my actual age. So I have lots of work to do!

We just recently joined and really like it. I haven't chosen to use the childcare yet-but I will once cold and flu season is over. A friend's children had 2 rounds of strep - which she thinks they caught at lifetime - so I am just choosing to use the childcare later in the spring. Regardless - we LOVE it - my husband plays raquetball and I do group fitness classes - very early in the morning. The people there, staff and otherwise, really motivate you and I am really looking forward to being able to use the pool area with my daughter this summer - the indoor pool is great for kids too year-round! You should join!

I have been a member at Lifetime Fitness for a while. I really enjoy my membership there. I really like the variety of aerobics classes they have there. My son who is 6 also enjoys going there. He loves playing in the child care center. He actually helps movitate me to go, because he likes going so much. We also swim and play basketball when they are open for family time.

I wasn't a huge fan of the childcare. I joined the Plymouth location last summer & while the facility is amazing, the childcare was not. Maybe it was just the summer staff, but I often found them talking to each other while kids were crying in a separate section. Other locations may be better...

I have been a member for a while but didn't really use it until I thought of using the outdoor pool this last summer for my son, he LOVED it. I saw a lot of people using it as a "country club". Then this winter I signed up for Team Fitness, it meets 3 days a week for 12 weeks, I chose the 6 am so I was sure to do it. I never push myself hard enough and can always think of a reason not to go, so this was a good solution for me, even though it costs extra. They also have a Team Weightloss and a Boot Camp. I had metabolic testing done there too which was interesting and use the spa for massages because you can usually get in the same day. Seems like I work for the company from my review, but I don't, I have just found some elements of it that I like. I'm not sure where you are located, but I'd bet the new locations are really nice! The only bad I can think of is it is a little pricey, but if you use it, it's worth is. Our health insurance refunds me part if I go enough.
