The Bronx Zoo - NYC
Do anyone know on which weekday the Bronx Zoo has a Pay-What-You-Wish entrance fee?

Hi everyone!
Thank you all for your responses on the Bronx Zoo. I actually went there last Wednesday with my two kids who where home from school for Rosh Hashannah. Needless to say they enjoyed the day very much. They both had their cameras and kept on running from a place to the other "capturing" as many animals as they could. It was not our first time there (we had visited the zoo back in 2004), but it was so great that it was like a first time for all. I wonder if the animals there know how much we appreciate their being there! I hope so, 'cause, still we got their freedom.

Wednesday are "donation entrance fee/free entrance" day - just remember that's only for the main entrance. You still have to par regular price for the special attractions, ie. the children's zoo

Every Wednesday is Pay what you Wish but all the special exhibits - Children's Zoo, Gorillas, etc are an additional fee.

I just looked up the hours & rates of the Bronz Zoo on their Web site: Wednesday admission is a pay-what-you-wish donation. Suggested donation is $15 for adults, $11 for children, and $13 for seniors.

Wednesday for general admission. If you want to get the POP ticket, which includes everything, then its 12.00 for everyone. Go soon the season is almost over, Oct 28th, then mostly all of the big attractions are closed for the winter season. Our newest exhibit, Madagascar is open all year around though. Have fun!!

V.,every wednesday it's free and if you have any toddlers you can go there on tuesday's in the am for free- pls view their website www.bronxzoo.com also feel free to check out the children musuem. hug:)
