Hey mommas, has anyone ever tried the beaming white at their dentist? They have deals every now and then and I want to do it but am skeptical about that stuff. I have been using Crest 3D and it works a bit but not like teeth whitening would be. I guess I should ask my friend what she uses with her bright whites (she said she whitens them) but I also want to ask yall to see if anyone has used it. They either put a whitening gel on your teeth and hold your mouth open with this thing they stick on the sides of your mouth or you put a tray in and with both methods they put a whitening light in front of your teeth. Experiences?

So What Happened?

I guess my friend does Nite white.. has anyone done that? or day white? apparently they are amazing. I know her teeth are immaculate white. She mentioned it hurts too. Why? Cuz of the light?

Im a smoker & a huge coffee drinker.. My teeth can get pretty stained. I use peroxide & baking soda, works better than any whitening toothpaste or kits Ive tried. Dentist said its fine to do. Try it, even once, it makes a huge difference with one use.

I have not heard of that, but I did (and still do) use the whitening trays that the dentist gave me. Maybe 2 times a year I will use it for a few days after getting a cleaning. They work great!!

I did Bright Smile about 6 years ago. They used gel & the light. I didn't see as much of a difference as I would have liked. They told me at my consultation that my results wouldn't be that great b/c my teeth were on the whiter side of the scale already. Oh & just a warning, my teeth HURT that evening but I have sensitive teeth. I got tons of compliments afterwards though, everyone noticed & said they looked great. I'm thinking about getting it done again but would need something for the pain this time ( I am usually not a whimp, BTW).

I use baking soda and toothpaste mixed together. I got a LOT of compliments this weeks from my friends that I haven't seen since last May.
