Tearing Out OLD Play Set

So, as I just posted with my bamboo question, we are planning to get our yard kid-friendly before the summer. When we bought out house it has an old play "structure" in the back yard (next to the bamboo). It's old, with 2 swing, monkey bards and I'm pretty sure some type of lead paint on it. When someone does swing on it, the whole structure swings back and forth. We hoped that meant it would be eat to pull out, but it doesn't. Any ideas of how to get this thing out? It seems to have cement blocks in all 4 corners, but there isn't a solid cement slab under it.
Thank you!

Without having seen it, I do think I may know what you are talking about. They used cement to anchor the four (or six) bars into the ground, right? In the grass? If that is the case, then you should be able to dig it out with a shovel and some elbow grease, it probably does not go down too far. Good luck!

If rickety when in use, it must be removed! You can cut off the poles and leave the concrete IF YOU go deep enough to cover the old stubs completely. Or dig it all out, you will still need to cut off the poles to make job manageable.
My husband put one in 15 years ago, my granddaughter loves it now. It took him a whole week to set those posts properly! The concrete goes deep under and around the posts. But ours is still as stable as when put in....

If the bars are cemented into the cement blocks, you may have to cut the bars and leave the cement blocks.
