Taking TamiFlu While Pregnant

I tested positive for Type A flu (most likely H1n1) on Tuesday and was started on TamiFlu. I am currently 21weeks pregnant and since there have been no clinical trials on TamiFlu during pregnancy (that I know of) I wanted to hear from any moms that had to take it while they were pregnant and if your baby was born healthy. The only thing I have heard of is minor skeletal problems, but my OB said they consider it safe after the 1st trimester.
Thanks.

R.,

Know that your OB would not give you the go ahead if there was ANY chance of this medicine hurting your baby. The pharmacist can also reassure you. When I am worried about medication interactions, I always ask the pharmacist. They usually know more than the doctor, they went to school for a lot longer than the doctor. Give them call and check so you can put your mind at ease.

Peace,
C.

Check out this huge article today on Foxnews.com. Don't want to scare you, but it sounds like it is important to get on medicine right away.

Get thee to people's pharmacy ASAP. They have specialist to recommend treatments that are safe and very effective. Both of my daughters are pregnant and we have them on preventative supplements but Peoples also has treatments IF you do get the flu. They are very knowledgeable and I fully trust what they recommend. ASk them about the Tamiflu
You can also google Dr.Mercola's website and do a search on Tamiflu or Tamiflu and pregnancy.
I pray for a quick and uneventful recovery for you.
