Where do you buy swimsuits for yourselves? I am looking for a tankini, and I'm very short, so if the store has petites that's a bonus for me. Online stores or regular stores are fine. Thanks for your suggestions!
Thanks everyone! I had looked at Lands End before, but didn't realize they carried petites. I ended up ordering one really cute skirted bottom and two tankini tops that I can alternate. They haven't come in yet, so I'm hoping they will fit. I appreciate the help!
I actually just bought a great tankini at JCPenny. I usually have no luck, but found one that is cute and flattering. A miracle! Good luck!
I got a Land's End one last year and love it. It is a tankini and had several options for the bottom. I'm short and the fit and price were right. You can check them out at Sear's or shop online.

They sell petites, and they are well made suits that last forever. They are a little pricey, but if you get one from the overstocks, you can get decent deals there, and they do hold up fantastically.

Land's End is the best...you can tailor the suit for your body type. Go online and get suggestions about which suit would be best for you. Lots of choices...mix and match. Happy suit shopping!!!

Target or Old Navy. Now if I had the perfect body it would be a different story! Gotta cover up that mom belly! I usually try to go for trendy one pieces.
I *love* J Crew's swimsuits. (I'm a fairly tall, so I'm not sure if they are a good fit for all).
If you are looking for a more athletic suit, you might try a speedo separate or (depending on the cut) something from roxy.
I also have to second Target, though. I've gotten swimsuits there for the past few years because they are affordable and sometimes really attractive and functional.
Lands End. If anything happens to the suit EVER they, replace it for free! :)
I just go to target. They have juniors sizes and womens sizes so shorties like us can find one that fits :)
