Swimming Lessons in S. Tampa for 6.5 Yr Old

When my children were learning to swim a few years ago we used Miss Brenda's Swim School. At the time she gave private lessons at our home, but I know she now has facility in Tampa. She was wonderful! Our son had gone thru the Infant Swimming Research program and Seal Swim School. He was still terrified of the pool until Miss Brenda started working with him. Hi R., I have a 2 year old girl and I live in N Tampa and I take her to Seal Swim school.They also have one in S Tampa.They are a little expensive,but very good.Hope this helps H.

We live in South Tampa. Did you try the YMCA on Himes? They have different prices and things, but you can check it out. We love it! Good luck! M.

I know they offer them on base but only at the begining of summer. I am not too sure about anywhere else. Maybe the YMCA on Himes ave. Just past Gandy on the left. I know of a few friends from my MOPS group who have their children taking lessons there.
