I'd like to put my 4 year old in private or semi-private swim lessons. Any recommendations on a facility? We're in Elmhurst.
I really like LifeTime. My 3 year old and 5 year old have been going there for about a year. One of the things I like about it is that the pool is heated. That really makes a big difference for those little ones! I don't think you have to be a member to take lessons. We go to the one in Burr Ridge and really like the instructors.
What about through your park district? Another option would be the YMCA or a health club that has a pool.

My kids take lessons and the YMCA and we like them. I have also heard great things about OakBrook.
We have done the private lessons through Oak Brook park district. Their facility is top notch!
The Elmhurst Park Distric offers private swim lessons all summer.
