I want to get my 7 yr old tested/treated for ADD - our pedi said that her office doesn't do it and that I need to find someone else who does (frustrating!) Does anyone have a doctor that they use who is caring, kind, and knowledgeable that they can recommend? Thanks in advance!!

I was just trying to research ADHD support groups and this link came up. I know it is two years later but wandering if you have had any luck. I have a daughter with adhd but she is 10. We have aetna insurance and I know sometimes insurance is not accepted. She is having a very hard time making friends. Any advice?

Although I'm not a 7-year old, I'm pretty sure that some of the positive reviews I read at that time were from parents whose children go to him.
Dr. Roger Robinson in Fort Worth works with children. He is located off University Drive and I-30.
We had the same issue with our son. We used Dr. Goldman in Southlake. He is really great, worked with us a ton on finding just the right medication and worked well with our son.

Please try homeopathic FIRST. About 90% of these situations can be handled with diet & exercise without having to put your child on medication. too many doctors are too quick to drug! It took about 6 months with my son, but today he is drug free and in honors classes!
