So a couple of days ago I noticed a couple of bumps on my 1 year old that did not seam to bother her in any way. So I let it go and did not think about it again. But now my 3 year old has a lot of bumps that have been coming and going all day. Every time that she lays down she gets them again. The only thing that I can see that they look like it chicken pox but I have never heard of chicken pox coming an going. She says that they dont itch and they dont hurt. I checked her bed to see if there was anything in it there is not. I checked her list from daycare she didnt eat anything that she has not had a million times. I am at a lost. They are every where on her body and every time that she lays down she gets more and more. I am going to take her to a doctor in the morning but would like to know if I should be taking her to the ER right now.
Thank You.

So What Happened?

Well we still do not totaly know what it is. We know that it is not spider bites. It is not because of our detergent. Its not chicken pox or scabies. I am still sorta at a loss.
Second update: Still dont know for sure she is still getting them. The doctor thinks that they have something to do with anxiety.
Finally figured out what it is!!!!! THANK GOD I thought that I was going crazy. She had misqueto bites. Which I didnt know this but 1 out of 10 people are really really alergic to. She just happend to be one of them. So now we have to do shots once a month for a while and stuff like that.

My 5 year old daughter gets them about 1 to 2 times a month. We also have no clue why but are thinking that it is when she gets worn down. It seems that she gets them most when she has had a busy week and is sleepy. It is weird they almost act like they are moving all over her it will be in one spot then move to another. We got a lotion from the Dr thinking that would help but the only thing that seems to take them away is benadryl (Spelling Sorry). Good Luck

B.,

I had a rash a few weeks ago that only got bad when I was sleeping. After I was up awhile most of the rash went away. When I would sleep, the rash would come back but in different spots. It was weird. The doctor said there has been alot of people with rashes and they have no explanation for them....

Hope everything is ok.....

Maybe she is having a reaction to what her sheets/blankets are washed in, or there is some unseen bug(s) in the bed and biting her. My guess is that since she gets them when she lies down but go away when she is up it has something to do with her bed. Have her sleep somewhere else and see if she gets more bumps. The only other thing I could think of is 'hand, foot, mouth' which is going around at schools but not sure if the bumps come and go so frequently (I think they come and then go away when you are over it or detoxed).

I don't think this calls for a trip to the ER unless she is has a fever, hard time breathing or other symptoms that might indicate something is wrong. I am sure in the morning the doctor will be able to help pin point what is going on. Best wishes in figuring this out.

It sounds like spider bits to me. Maybe there is a nest near her bed.

Well, are the bumps stickin around and did she have a high fever a few days ago? My daughter has this right now...Roseolla! Highly contagious and the bumps look like welts/ bites/ chicken pox..everything that has been mentioned I did until I finally called the Doctor and described the bumps. Have fun and let us know what it is.

Hi..I recently went through an ordeal with my 6 yr old and they treated him for scabbies(crazy I know) and so we went to a dermatolgist and he told me it looked like a skin reaction in someone that was exposed tostrep..he gave him amoxil for 10 days and they went away. I would start there..his went away then came back really bad. I hope this helps..please update us on what happened..He didnt test positive for strep at the doctor..I was told it was a rash from someone being exposed and not actually having it.
