Good morning people!!! Things have been serious on here the last few days....so since I love to laugh, I had to share the funny things my dog, Grady, did this morning....

I get up before everyone else and SOMETIMES he hears me and wakes up...we have a storm brewing here and he does NOT like the rain - so he RUNS out back to do his thing - can't decide to squat or raise or lower his right or left leg - it was funny to watch - then we get thunder - BBBBBBBOOOMMMM!!! He yelps and comes running back to me!

We are now inside and he's tucked under my feet and peeking his head out!!

Oh yeah - Grady is a Boxer/Pit Bull mix. he's scared to death of the Razors/Scooters my boys ride and if they pull them out and ride them in the driveway - he runs to me and sits on my feet!! And no, we've had him since he was 8 weeks old and has NEVER had anything happen to him with the Razors...

Do your dogs do anything funny??!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

OH MY WORD!! CAT!! LOVE IT!!!

Grady is a TALKER - no kidding - we have considered video taping him and sending it to America's Funniest Home Videos!! When I take him over to my girl friend's house for a play date - he TALKS to me the WHOLE WAY there!! As we get to the corner where I need to turn for her house - I ask him "am I going the right way?" He BARKS at me...when I turned right instead of left? OH MY GOD!! He came unglued!!! Pining and shaking - I know - I was mean - but it was HILARIOUS to see that he KNEW the way and KNEW I had gone wrong...I only did it once!

hahaha, nice! I don't have a dog, but my kids are so hilarious. Yesterday my 4 yr old asked if we could go outside after dinner so he could play in the sprinkler. I said 'maybe, we'll see, just don't harass me about it' He said 'ok mommy, I won't harass you about it, well not too much....but I might harass you a little bit...' :D I really chuckled on that one, he got points for honesty!

Almost every morning, I hear my 1 year old playing in his crib. I walk in to get him - he stands up with his hands in the air but in a 'bear clawing' position then "roars" at me. I act scared and he bursts into a fit of giggles. LOL

Good morning cheryl-

My dog, Tybalt (the labradoodle that we are convinced was dropped on his head at birth) cracks me up every morning. The routine is always the same...my alarm...I start coffee...get the dogs water...let them out...then they get 'doggy treats'. I have them do something (sit...lay down...speak etc) to get their biscuits...but tybalt (all 70 lbs of him) seems to think he can get all his treats at once IF he does every possible trick in quick succession! So he becomes a LARGE spinning, speaking, sitting, lying down, rolling over BLUR of activity! lol

After I finish cracking up...I pour coffee...and the 'youngers' start to wander in with their 'good mornings'...and we begin the day!

Have a great day!

River sits diligently by the baby's side when he's eating, then looks at me with his big, sad eyes and waits for me to tell him 'okay', and then he literally smiles and 'cleans up' the baby, HAHA!!

He does NOT bark.... but he does 'sing for his supper', literally.

LOL @ Grady, what a girlie boy!! That's how River is!!

Our last dog, a chihuahua, loved the song "Who Let the Dogs Out." When we would begin singing the song, she'd join in and howl the whole time. It was hilarious!! Our current dog, Floyd, loves watching the Dog Whisperer. Not kidding. He gets right up to the screen and watches the dogs very intently, then whines at them. He also fell out of bed at 3:30 this morning, poor dude.

In march, I was going to the bathroom and the door was closed. My daughter Delilah came up to the door and asked if she can come in. I said no, and she said, "But can't I show love to you while you pee?"

When my boxer was alive, we'd all be outside (dog, me, 2 yr old son at the time) and the boxer would come and sniff me and lick my arm. So what would my son do? Come over and sniff me and lick my arm too. He enjoyed pretending to be a dog.

I can't think of anything incredibly funny my dog did. His drool gave us the most laughs b/c it'd go in one long gooey stream almost touching the ground (so a good 18 inch drool-string). Sometimes he'd shake his head and get his drool on his face. I have pics of him with a big drool bubble. My son used to like popping the drool bubbles. Gross, but funny.

As for my son being funny - lately he loves dressing up in his Halloween costume. He has two costumes actually - Batman and Superman. He gets dressed up as Superman a lot lately -- he runs and hides and tells me to be Lois Lane. So I fall on the couch and wail "Oh no Superman! I'm falling ! Save me!" and he comes out from hiding with is cape and 'ba-ba-ba-dum'-ing the theme song to Superman (Christopher Reeve versions) and he lifts me up off the couch and gets a big smile on his face when I say "Thank you for saving me Superman!" and give him a big kiss.

We have a daughter who is 4 and TOTAL drama queen/diva. Last weekend we got her a new bedroom suite to match her new princess canopy bed her Nana recently bought her. She woke up this morning and starts waving her hands around all of her new furniture saying (in these exact words) "I'VE NEVER HAD SO MUCH STUFF IN ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE!" I'm pretty sure a liiiiiittle bit of pee came out of me......

Yesterday was my daughters birthday, and she got sang Happy Birthday to her several times. So many in fact that she was singing it to herself last night in bed. :)

My dog, I don't know what is up with her lately. I keep finding her in the oddest places. In the bathtub, wedged behind the toilet, and yesterday she tried to climb into the cabinet under the sink! Did I mention that she is a 65 lb Siberian Husky, and there is no way in hell she was going to fit under there?

My Shiba Inu, is terrified of everything. So I was trying to get him out the back door to go potty. What I didn't realize is that my daughter had shut the screen door....unfortunately my dog got himself in a panic and went blindly running and BLAM! bounced right off the screen door. Which made him panic more and he reared back and BLAM a second time....but this time he made it through, so now I have a hole in my screen. I was laughing too hard to be too mad though.

Yesterday I asked my 5 year old about his day at school and he told me that his friend Levi can move his ears, he had speghetti, bread and yucky oranges for lunch. He said it all in one breath and I couldn't help but chuckle a bit. He always seems to put a smile on my face :)

Aww.....!!! =)
I'm actually a cat person myself! And just watching them grow up from kittenhood was a blast. We have sisters that we got at about 8 weeks old also, and it's been pure delight watching them grow, especially since playing and romping is what kittens do best!
