Starting Mom's Group in Uptown Area

I'm a little north of you but am in that area often. I have a 17-month old boy and stay at home with him. We go to the Cooper Aerobics Center every morning (almost) and he plays for a couple of hours while I workout and shower- it's pretty much my sanity! I am always up for all of the things you mentioned. I love playing with other moms and kids or finding time away from the babies for adult conversation. Let me know what kind of response you get and I'll join in!

I work full-time during the week so I'm always up for weekend playdates for my daughter. Since she stays at home (versus daycare) I like to expose her to as many children as possible. My daughter is a lot older than your son (almost 21 months) so I don't know if you would be interested but let me know if you are.

I live in the Preston Hollow area, but work downtown. I would love to get together if you can get a group together. I have a 13 month old and a 21 month old.

I'd love to meet for a play group once or twice a month. I have a 3 month old daughter and a 22 month old son. Do you mind different ages for the play group? My son is quite active these days and my daughter is starting to roll over a bit. It'd be nice to be able to do something with both children.

I run my own moms group in the Irving/Las Colinas area & we use Meetup.com to schedule playdates, gather members & post on the message boards to get to know each other. I would suggest checking it out. You DO have to pay monthly for a membership but in my opinion, it's worth it.
