Hi again. I am putting in another request because you wounderful ladies were so helpful the first time. I am looking to find some playmates for my 22 month old son. I did put him in a MDO program but he hated it. He didn't like being away from mom. I have looked into some playgroups but that was a little overwhelming for both of us. I am a first time mom that does not have any friends with children and I also live away from my family, so I have been doing a lot of trial and error. If any one is interested in getting our kids together or just to talk please let me know. Thanks so much.

My oldest is 3 1/2 and my youngest is 6 months. I would love to get together and play. We have lots of toys and I know how hard it can be. I just put my son in MDO last year and it was really tough for the first 6 weeks. He never spoke. But now he loves going and this week he is in Vacation Bible School and is having the time of his life! Let me know if you are interested!

I'm a member of the Fort Worth Hip Mama Meetup Group. You should check it out. It's a wonderful group of moms and kids of all ages and lots of different activities. I would recommend joining the MOMs club. It's only $25/year and there are organized activities every week for you to join in to. They go to the zoo, go to lunch, there are mom's night out once/month and there are weekly playdates. I'm not sure if our moms club is any different from teh rest of them, but we have a playgroup that meets on Fridays and it is only 5 moms and our kids, so it's relatively small and we've all become really good friends that help each other out all the time. I have 3-month old twins and a 3-year old and I don't have any family nearby either. I can honestly say that I don't know what I'd do if I hadn't joined the moms club and made such wonderful, supportive friends.

Hi L., My son is 21 months. I have a neighbor with a son that is just a couple of months older than mine and we can never seem to get together. They have opposite nap times and we keep them apart if one or the other has a cold. I would love to get to know some moms with children my sons age. I think it is good for the kids as well as the moms. I work about 15 days a month but would love to get together for our kids to play sometime. Email me if you are interested.
