Special Needs Dentist

Dr. Plauka in Chesapeake is awesome. It is a very child oriented office. The entire staff is warm and kind. It is obvious that they care about children and making them feel comfortable. They not only specialize in treating children but also special needs. My kids all like going to the dentist and my 4yr. loves going. When she was 3yr. we had to pull two teeth and she still loves going to see the dentist. We usually see Dr. Laurie but Dr. Gail is great too.###-###-#### is their number. I cannot praise them enough.

Check with Rosenblum,barney and hasty...just call them to see if they accomadate! theya re AWEsOME! and the office is totally geared towards the child!

Unfortunately, the only pediatric dentists I have dealt withare in Newport News. Dr. Avent. He is great with your children and very kind. I don't know of any in your particular area of request.

Did you try Dr Etheridge at Greenbrier Dental? I am very very picky about the dentist for my kids since my 1st daughter's experience wasn't great (we lived in CA and she is now 10)..so each time for her is a BIG event. My son who is 3 now goes there too and they were WONDERFUL with him. Just make sure to request that you get a room (not in the back which is open). The STAFF is wonderful. And if you want, after calling you can tell them that I sent you (M. Bates)..it is up to you. I am sure you will call first, ask questions, let them know your concerns and I am sure they will be a GOOD FIT for you.
