We are celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary. My sister took all four kids and puppy for the rest of the weekend :) We have are on a tight budget. We are going to the cheesecake factory with a gift certificate. I am still planning to have wine together and play some card games. I was hoping that you ladies had some fun ideas for tonight. Any ideas? ;)

What can I do next?

Get a CD with nice soft music, some really great bubble bath, and candles. A bubble bath for 2 with soft music and candlelight, maybe some nice wine.

How about an evening stroll through a park or downtown, and stop in for some coffee or frozen yogurt? Maybe check out local theater performances, farmer's markets/orchard, go for a hike... If you want to stay in, we like to do wine/cheese and a movie or by candlelight on the patio, board games, picnic on the living room floor, take a bath/shower together, and of course, with no kids around, sex in places other than the bedroom. :) Have fun!

Not sure what kind of ideas you're looking for but taking a shower or bath together would be fun! I can't even remember the last time my hubby and I took a shower together but I'm sure it was before the kids came along!! Sexy nightgown; candles; whipped cream - the kind in a can, not tub!! Rent a good movie and just have fun! And don't forget to thank your sister!! lol!! Good luck!!

Well, if I were going to be home playing cards alone with hubby, I'd make it some interesting card games, if you get my gist, LOL

Go for a walk, window shop, enjoy your wine and night alone, sleep in, wear something hot and sexy for dinner and slip into something hot and sexy when you get home.

This may be TMI, but my husband and I have turned every card or board game we have ever played into something "interesting". Maybe not at first, but eventually.

Whoever wins a hand gets to request a "favor."

We also have "mattress night." It sounds silly I know, but we pull the mattress into the living room where the good tv is and we stay up late watching movies, eating snacks, talking. It's kind of cool because it's like an old fashioned slumber party but with extra benefits. ;)

Strip poker.
A bubble bath with candles and wine or how about champagne and strawberries?
Making your own chocolate strawberries is really easy.
Melt some chocolate chips in a pan and as it cools, dunk the tips of your strawberries. Place them on a pretty plate. You can feed them to each other.

Only you know all the things you wish you could do with your husband if you had the time, now you have the time. You might not get to fulfill your EVERY wish, like going on a cruise to the Bahamas or whatever, but you can make it special.

Happy Anniversary and best wishes to you!!!

See if there are any festivals or free concerts in your area, go home and see what you have been missing with your husband with your kids around and take your time, find out if you have free museums or cheap theater tickets. Happy Anniversary!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ! ! !

And boquets to your sister ! ! !

Dinner and a movie is fun, especially if the dinner is at home and you don't have to worry about what others may see you wearing. I have some special valentines candle holders I use every now and then.

The book, "101 Nights of Great Sex" has some interesting ideas.

Good luck to you and yours.
