the doc is fine..

same story her.. my duaghter had feve and cough.. went to the dr.. just a virus.. come back if she does not improve in 2 days.. 3 days later we wer back and she had anear infection and pneumonia..

the dr listened to her chest both times and checked her ears both times..

I do believe that she did have a virus at the first visit.. and it turned into the ear infection and pneumonia..

viruses can do that.. starts out as a cold and if you dont fight it off fast enough all of that excess mucus gets infected.

no really messed up. i swear to god, i am right there with you. my daughter got a cough 5 weeks ago. just cough (3 visits later, after being sent home with oh it's just stuff going around), she gets a double ear infection, 10 days antibiotic, cough the entire time. antibiotics done now getting ready to go back again. they are being too careful in giving medicine and undertaking preventive measures. the child still ends up taking antibiotics but kinda late as other stuff develops.
i am mad. and i am so mad i will go mad at the office and i better get some answers.

It could of been pneunomia all along, if they did not test him for RSV. because they are similar in sympotoms. Did they give him nebulizer treatment? or a puffer?

No you are not crazy. From my experience the best thing is follow your heart. If you don't feel your child is getting the best care than get another opinion, go to another dr or even go to Emergency or Urgent care if you feel you need too. Both Adults and children don't always ge thte best care anymore. its more about numbers. I went thr major surgery last yr and I was getting worse not better and I finally decided to get another opinion and found out 6 mo after surgery I had gotten staff infection from the surgery and that was causing major problems. People die from that.

Both my children were born Premmie babies. You have to fight for them.
so if you don't feel comfortable follow what you feel is right so your baby gets better.

What I understand RSV symptoms to be is a cross between asthma and pneumonia. Maybe the virus lead to the pneumonia now.... I'm so sorry that you're little one is sick. My son had the same thing the last week of December. For the ear infections, the doctor gave him azithromaz( sp?), a z-pack if you're an adult, and it knocked it out! I would call and let them know you are still concerned!!!

i would think she/he would need a breathing treatment?
