I thought it would be fun to share a funny kids story or something your child has done that has cracked you up. Mine for my daughter is when she was about 6 we had to move her bedroom because of we had a baby on the way. We have a very large bedroom upstairs and it was set up for her. Once we got her up there she was very proud of her room and called it her repartment (apartment). It was the cutest thing. She wanted everyone to come up to see her repartment and our family even got her things for her repartment. We never corrected her calling it the repartment.

What can I do next?

Hi L., That's an awesome idea for a thread! I love their "little" language. My daughter says "done", instead of phone -- and that's the only time she does not pronounce the "f" sound. It's so funny........Here's my funny moment with my 3 (in April) yr. old daughter. As most men do, my hubby poots (farts) wherever, whenever. I'm quite used to it as is my daughter in her short life. :) He had just released one he was quite proud of, which sent him immediately running to the bathroom. Right then is when for the first time, my daughter said, "Mommy, guess what." I said, "What honey". She said, "Daddy go stink, stink. He nasty!" All the while waving her hand in front of her pinched nose.....We CRACKED UP!

Kids say the funniest things. My oldest son was 4 years old when his twin sisters were born and at first he was excited but about a year later he said to me "mommy can you do me a favor when you have another brother or sister for me can you please make it just one this time cause there is just to many of us and it drives me insane" then he followed that by saying "mommy can we give one of my sisters away so that it will be quiter around here when i am trying to sleep i need my rest cause i have so many inmportant things to do" its funny how much he resented he is brother and sisters and now he can't go 5 minutes without them or he is lost.

I could go on and on with funny stories from my kids. But...for right now I'm only going to mention the most recent one for my youngest daughter. She just turned 5 on Feb. 2nd. I got her a bella dancerella swan lake ballet thing for her birthday. When we went to the store the other day, I was looking at a rack of clothes and there was dance clothes on another rack nearby. Mikayla said to me "Can you buy me that ballerina tutu?". I told her you have so many of them already, why do you need another? She answered with "For ballerining!" I just had to laugh at the mispronunciation. LOL!

last months, my 3 year old started announcing around the house that he "had eyes for things".... i know, i know, what does that mean? he'd say "mommy, i have waffle eyes" or "mommy, I have cartoon eyes" and it took me a couple days to figure him out. now i understand that he's trying to tell me he's craving/desiring the thing in question. so now, i know to hand him a waffle or turn on the cartoons... where does he get this stuff?

My 10 month old has learned to clap her hands. She is very cute. One night after putting her to sleep she started crying. When I walked in to check on her, she sat up and clapped!! It was the cutest thing...like she was saying "yah mommy!!

Good idea!

A few days ago I thought maybe my 20 month old daugther was coming down with something. I took out the anal thermometer and the vasoline and was about to take her temperature when the phone rang. I went into the next room to grab the phone and when I came back my daugther was dipping the thermometer into the vasoline and putting it in her mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (it was still clean at least!)
