Sewing Patterns

Hello all,

My sweet step mom is going to sew my two girls Christmas dresses this year. I have gone to several Walmarts to get a sewing pattern that i like for her and send it to her. Well they are telling me that since they got rid of their fabric they do not sell the patterns anymore either. I really do not have time to just drive to several places looking for them. Do any of you know some really good websites that i can look at and find one to just email her? Thank you for your help mamas!!! :0)

All of the pattern makers have websites that you can use to find patterns on. And get the number so all you have to do is write down the number and go look in Joanns.

The main pattern books are simplicity.com butterick.com and mccalls.com any of those you should be able to find the patterns. Also keep in mind not all Wal-Mart's have done away with there fabric section. Also Hobby Lobby & Joann's, are good places to look. Depending on where you are there may be another wal mart close to you that you could call them.

Good Luck!

Checkout this website, lots of free patterns you can download and print :)

McCall's, Butterick, Simplicity, Vogue all have patterns online. Check their websites.

My daughter works for JoAnn in Grapevine at the cutting counter. She helps people find patterns there every day, and even sews the items for a nominal charge on the side when people are not able to do it themselves. Ask for Katy or any of the other ladies back there can help.

Hi C.,

If you make one quick trip to your nearest JoAnn Fabrics, you will DEFINITELY find the pattern that would be perfect for your daughters. As far as websites, I don't really know of any maybe someone else will know if going to JoAnn's is not convenient for you.

What Jenay said! :)

I look up the pattern online and then just run in Joann's and get it. Much easier with kiddos underfoot!

If you watch Joann's ads you can get the patterns on sale for 99 cents or a $1.99.

Hobby Lobby has patterns not online, I have no idea where you can do that. I sew and also there is a great Richland Sewing Center in North Richland Hills. They run specials on patterns every once in awhile for really cheap.Joannes or Hancocks. JoAnns sends nme specials all the time. I never look at them as I used to sew a lot but not now. G. W
