What is the attire to sesame street live? i say semi dressy (button down n jeans for my guy, sweater n jeans for me, nad a nice outfit for our daughter) he says tee n jeans

She is going to be wearing thin khaki pants from ON with a flowery shirt

ETA the outfit she would be wearing is something that is nice, but not too nice i will worry about (i dont worry about her clothes the way i look at it she is 3 and will get messy) but it will be easy for her to move around in

What can I do next?

We went last year. The kids were mostly in jeans and Elmo t-shirts or sweatshirts. Some girls were in Abby Cadabby costumes, but definitely casual.

If you're wondering, the hubs and I were both in jeans and sweaters. It's a children's show... not the "theater"!

It's been several years but when we went it wasn't dressy at all.
Maybe it depends on the venue? We saw it in pro basketball stadium, not a fancy theater.

Anything, it is Sesame Street!!!! You are both right jeans and tees, or jeans
shirt/sweater. Very casual.

Your daughter will most likely be dancing in the aisle :) I say a cute leggings outfit for her (also easy for bathroom breaks) and casual for you and your husband.

Comfortable! I have taken my little ones to many a live show (and I used to work in theatre.) I will tell you that the attire for matinees across the board is fairly casual, and that goes for adults going to see big-name musicals like Phantom of the Opera. For children's theatre, the attire is pretty much the same as you would send your child to school in. I wouldn't wear sweat pants, but jeans and a t-shirt are perfectly acceptable. There is the possibility that you want to turn it into An Event for your family. In that case, you may want to dress a little nicer and have a meal out .... but I would keep it simple. You don't want to dress them so nicely you would worry more about their clothes getting ruined than them having a good time and enjoying the show.

Totally casual, whatever's most comfortable. It's not like going to the opera or ballet.

We just went last Saturday and most people were dressed pretty casually. I think you guys would be fine in anything you wanted to wear. There were a few people there who were a little more "dressy", but I think that is because they were having pictures done. I say....go however you are most comfortable. Have fun!!

If I had a young daughter....I would order her the fanciest Sesame Street dress on line with a fluffy slip underneath....ruffled socks and dress shoes!!! I would want her to feel special for this occassion. But it might be because I only have 1 grandson and I long to buy all the frilly dresses!!!

The important thing is that they are comfortable clothes, easy to move around in. I would also suggest that they not be super dressy or super special (like something you expect to have their pics taken in after or for Easter Sunday) just in case something gets spilled on them (not just them but all the other kids there too).

I don't see anything wrong w/ what you intead for them to wear. But jeans and a decent tshirt is ok too.
