I am looking for a community pool/community center/ etc... where I can sign up my 15 month old son for swimming lessons. I am new to the area and am unsure of where to begin. Thanks for your help.
Hi C.. Welcome to the area! I'm starting my 18 month old for swim lessons at Plymouth Community Center this weekend. Here's the site address if you want to check out their programs: http://www.plymouthcommunitycenter.org. You don't need to be a member (my family is not). You will probably find a YMCA that's a little closer to where you are located, but Plymouth really isn't far and this facility is great. Good luck with your search!
I know that the YMCA's in the area offer them and also the local high schools offer them.
The Ambler YMCA on Bethlehem Pike between Dager Rd. and Tennis Ave. is marvelous. They have swim lessons for babies through older kids and adults. My 2 older kids took lessons and learned to swim there; and my 5-year-old is currently taking swim lessons. Prices are also good. Good luck!
there is the skippack pool in skippack that offers it. I am not to sure of the number but it is on Cressman Road in Skippack..
The Plymouth Meeting Family Center is an option. You can see the information on the website that the prior person posted to you. Although, I have noticed a Swimming School going on 202 toward Montgomery Community College that I just do not remember the name. You can google it. This one it may be closer to you, since it is in Blue Bell.
