Does anyone have any recommendations for optometrists who are good with children. I have four children 8-14 years of age who all need exams and probably glasses for some. I took my 14 yr. old to mine but they were not very good with kids.

Dr. Janet Dardick on Main Street in Shiremanstown is the best! She is a wonderful lady, mom of two & a great doc! I highly recommend her!

Horizon Eye Care in Carlisle is great with kids. We see Dr. Strain and she is wonderful!
I live in Mechanicsburg, but take my kids to see Carl Frankel in Harrisburg. He's on Linglestown Road...not too far off Front Street (north Harrisburg.) He's worth the drive...makes my kids feel very at ease. He's a pediatric opthomologist...so specializes in kids.
Dr. James McManaway in Hershey. He is excellent with children and his office staff is wonderful. He is a pediatric opthalmologist. Good Luck
