Seeking OG GYN with Excellent Bedside Manner

I'm new to the Sugar Land area as well and found a great OBGYN with Dr McDonald. I had to see Dr. Le for my first appt to confirm my pregnancy and he was really great. I usually choose female doctors but felt really comfortable with Dr. Le and know my husband would like him too, if he should deliver our baby. I haven't seen Dr Patel (I think that's his name) but I've seen him in the office and he seems nice. Dr. McDonald is VERY friendly and gives me a hug each time she sees me. She's always excited about the baby and she is very sweet to my 2 year old while we are there. She's been down to earth and answers my questions without making me feel silly for asking. She is calm and I think that is such a key quality during delivery. The nurses in the office have been really helpful and their new office is gorgeous. I never saw the old office but it doesn't really matter. I've never had to wait too long for my appointments and am usually in and out pretty quick. Dr McDonald was referred to me by my GP, Dr Deirdre McMullin.

I lived in The Woodlands before and had the most wonderful OBGYN there. I was heartbroken to leave her when we moved but since I've found Dr McDonald, I don't feel bad.

I live in Sugar Land, but Dr. Le or his two partners McDonald and Patel are wonderful. I had a high risk twin pregnancy and Dr. Le was great with all my questions and keeping up with ultrasounds throughout the entire pregnancy.

Dr, Katherine Diase with SW OBGYN is the best Dr. I have ever Seen, I trust her completely, and have refferred many friends to her, all whom have come back to me and told me how much they love her too.

Hi Lindsay, congrat's on another baby. I am a Certified Nurse Midwife and own and run my own birth center. Are you sure you want an OB/GYN physician? If you are a normal healthy woman, you may enjoy the attention and support through your pregnancy, labor and birth that is not available in a hospital.

Yes--it is safe. Look for research recently published that shows out-of-hospital births are safer than hospital births! Many times the dads are even happier than the new moms about the whole experience--compared to his previous experience!

I like Dr. La in the West Houston Doctor's Center. Before that, Dr. Thibodeaux had that office and he's the one I would REALLY refer you to see, but now he's in Richmond, TX. If you're in the West Houston Area, I could give you more info on Dr. La.

I live in West Houston and have a 2 month old son and an 8 year old son. I really like my doctor a lot. She is very easy to talk to and very understanding. She just had a little girl last year. She has two offices, one is located at Memorial City Hospital I-10 and Gessner, and the other office is Near the old Katy Hospital on Pin Oak.
