Seeking Mom's Who Have Suggestions on the Best Way to Remove Hair from Legs!

Can any of you recommend a razor, cream, etc. to remove hair on leg, that will not leave visible(black)pores. When I shave, my legs don't feel smooth and you can see hair in pores. Please HELP!!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks sooooo much to all of you. The Mach 3 razor along with soft & silky shaving cream works wonders!!! Thanks again. Many blessings!

For over 20 years I have only ever waxed my legs.It works, so long as I keep it up. I only ever got my underarms waxed, my skin os too delicate for any other method, and I hate the stubble in that area.

You're genetically disposed to pores like that. You can try all the products, but I suffer from it as well. I've done everything including electrolysis. I use skintimate shave gel and the shick quatro pro razor. But I shave every other day.

Consider laser hair removal, it is permanent and you are a candidate if your hair root is a dark brown or black. I have a girlfriend who has the same issue and she swears it was the best investment she ever made. Her legs look great and she has had a big boost to her confidence. Good luck!

Hi,
The Body Shop at Home has a new sugar hair removal. I love it!
Thanks,

I would suggest waxing, the first time you wax it will be a little painful, but if you stick to it and get it done every 2-3 weeks the pain goes down because you are catching your hair in its growth cycle, you have 3 different hair growth cycles that accure about two weeks apart each, it will help to thin your hair and in the case of myself and some other gals I know that wax every 2-3 weeks it will also cause the hair to grow back lighter and softer.. the only other time that waxing will get painful is during ovulation because our bodies become super sensative, but maybe you could plan in for like the week before and the week after ovulation..

When looking for a waxer make sure they don't use roller wax, its against the law to use it some place other than home... they need to be using pot wax with waxing sticks (could be something looking similar to a popsicle stick or tounge depresser)
Good luck!!

I love, love, love the Soft and Silky Shaving Creme and After-shave Protection Mist from Passion Parties. The shaving creme is aloe vera based and will moisturize your skin as you shave. The protection mist is used after you get out of the shower to put a protective layer on the skin for added protection against irritation from clothing, etc. The protection mist is great to use every day even if you don't shave for the added protection. Let me know if you would like to try it!

You're like me! Waxing works - but you have to find someone who knows what they are doing! I've been scalded before. I had problems with ingrown hair after it starts to grow back and it gets super itchy, AND your legs are red and rashy looking for the first day.
So, I tried good old Nair lotion and used a body scrubber thing to remove it. It worked great - just as smooth as waxing without the redness. Follow the directions and don't leave it on for too long!
Then I added the Jergens Naturally Smooth lotion to my routine and find that my legs stay smooth a few days longer and I don't get ingrown hairs from the Nair like I did with shaving and waxing.
When I win Lotto I'll get laser done, but for now I'm sticking to the cheap stuff!
Hope this helped!

I have been doing laser hair removal for the past three years now and love it. I now only go 2 times a year. It is expensive to start but after a few sessions the price goes down. I am at $150 per session now but when it grows back it is sparse and light in color so it is hard to see. Right after the session it feels a little nubby but goes away after a day or so.
