Have any of you had success earning extra income by completing online surveys? I have seen advertisements for earning money this way, but I don't know which companies are reputable and don't want to get caught up in a scam!

What can I do next?

My husband has done a few through eRewards.com. It's taken him about three weeks to earn enough points (50) to get a $25 GameStop giftcard and it'll take about 6 weeks to get the card. He's pretty stoked that he gets to go get a nearly-free game for a few minutes here and there clicking on the internet.

Hi! I have been a member of mysurvey.com for the last few years, and they are a reputable company that doesn't exploit you, your name, or your information. They send you surveys to complete, and depending on your a/s/l/job/marital status, etc. for 'completion points' that you can redeem for cash and other options. It's not much, but they will also send you samples of new products to use in exchange for a survey. I like it because it only takes a few minutes, and they will email you when a survey is available. I think that the sooner you respond to their surveys, the more surveys they are likely to send you, at least from my experience.

Don't think of it as a source of income - but an easy way to make a few extra $$ w/o doing a thing but clicking on a few answers!

I've done some online surveys that "pay". Usually I end up reimbursing my "points" (their way of paying) with magazine subscriptions or paypal dollars. It takes several surveys to even receive $5 paypal dollars...not a way to become rich quickly, that is for sure! Another way that I have been compensated for surveys is to register with Schlessinger and Associates. They have an office here in Dallas and if you qualify to participate in some of their surveys, you can receive up to $250 for an hour of your opinions. Not bad!

I am signed up with Schlessinger and I get called on fairly often for paid surveys. They can be fun and I have made as must as $250 cash for testing produts and giving my opinion! The office I go to is off Spring Valley and Tollway.
