Seeking High Risk OB in Northern Indianapolis Area

I am considering trying for another pregnancy but will need a high-risk OB if I do get pregnant. Does anybody know one they liked? Especially if you have had an experience with placental accreta or a retained placenta? My preference is for someone who covers Clarion North hospital or St. Vincent's/Women's hospital. Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

I just gave birth to my 3rd daughter 7 weeks ago, and I had placenta previa. The other two births were vaginal, no problems, so this one threw us for a loop. I of course had to have a scheduled c section. My OB (who I didn't have with my other two births) is Karen Gallagher, and she was so wonderful and comforting, especially after telling her several times early in the pregnancy that I did NOT want to have a c section and would do anything to avoid it (which we needed to have anyway). I would highly recommend her. ###-###-#### Her practice is now at Methodist, but they are moving to Clarian North.

I have worked with both Dr Dawn Zimmer and Dr Adam Hiett. They are the doctors for Maternal Fetal Medicine out of St Vincent Women's hospital. Hope either one of them work out.

Northwest OBGYN, Dr. Hinkle is a great female doc there. I used to work at St. Vincent Women's hospital. Now I work at St. Vincent Women's at Carmel hospital. Dr. Hinkle and her partners took care of me when I had my miscarriage, and then their partners at Carmel took care of me and my now 4 month old twins at Carmel Hospital. They are a great high risk pregnancy group to go with. I hope this helps. Good luck!

St. Vincent's Women's Health Partnership. I go to Dr. Lynn Klus, but ALL the doctors are wonderful. Dr. Klus likes to try and deliver you if you are her patient (when possible). The number is ###-###-#### and they are located just to the north of Women's Hospital. Good luck.
