Deliver at Littleton or Sky Ridge?

Does anyone have experience delivering there babies at Littleton Hospital? I'm in the process of choosing an OB/GYN since we've moved to Littleton from Parker. The plan is to get pregnant again soon and my annual exam is coming up. Thinking long term, I want to pick an OB/GYN who delivers at my hospital of choice so I won't have to switch again. I delivered my two boys at Sky Ridge and LOVED it there. The nurses were really supportive and the facility was very comfortable. However, I'm considering Littleton Hospital since it's closer. Can anyone give me their feedback about Littleton versus Sky Ridge?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks to all of you for your responses. I feel confident about going to Littleton Hospital now. I know that having an incredible staff of nurses makes all the difference. It sounds like I can get an even better experience in regard to care at Littleton. Thanks for helping me make this decision for my final pregnancy. We're done at three kids so I'm making careful plans for my my last pregnancy/delivery. Thanks again!

Hi N.! I delivered both of my children at Littleton Hospital and have nothing but great things to say about the care we received there. The staff was so caring and attentive and we felt very well taken care of.

I gave birth to two of my children at Littleton, and then went onto work there. They are absolutely the best! Skyridge is pretty, but they cannot provide the level of neonatal care which Littleton can. THE BEST OB/GYN's in this area are DRs David Watson and Bruce Dorr. They will never disappoint you. They make every pregnancy feel so special. Even the ultrasound tech, Nurse Practioners (yeah Jessica!), and ladies at the front desk are AMAZING!!!! I would recommend them over and over and over again!

I delivered my son at Sky Ridge and my daughter at Littleton. I actually liked Littleton better. It may not be as new as Sky Ridge, but I thought the staff was better and more friendly. I also think it is a little less busy than Sky Ridge. Either way, you can't go wrong!

I delivered my daughter at Littleton, I had the same great experience you did at Sky Ridge. The nurses and staff were awesome! I thought the beds were as comfortable as I expected a hospital bed to be, and I honestly don't remember anything else about the room! My ob group delivers at both hospitals, and I will definitely choose Littleton again for my second one.

I can't give you feedback on the hospitals, but wanted to let you know that Women's Health Care Associates is a great OB/GYN group that has offices right next to Adventist and deliver at both, as well as Swedish. That way you would still have flexibility to choose your hospital later.

I have delivered at both. My first was at Sky Ridge and we had a wonderful experience. My son was born at Littleton a few years later and I loved them as well. The rooms are slightly smaller but the care is incredible. I had both wonderful care and nurses. Everything was comfortable and they really made an effort to keep my husband happy. Good luck!
