Seeking Help in the Best Umbrella Stroller or Light Stroller
I have the evenflo huge stroller, it fits in my trunk, but now I use my trunk for work and can't always take the huge stroller with me. I am looking for a great stroller that is light weight, my daughter is now 16 months old, I want this purchase to last and most of the umbrella light weight stroller go up to only 35 lbs. HELP FAST please let me know if you can point me in the right direction!

I HIGHLY recommend the MacLaren Quest stroller. It reclines, has an extendable legrest and goes up to 50lbs. It doesn't take up much space in the trunk. I use it everyday for my 28 pound 1 year old. It can be opened and folded up one-handed, too. You can get it at Babies R Us for about $200 (it is worth every penny!) or you can get it online at www.babydealz.com for a little less. Good luck!

We bought the Maclaren stroller, the Triumph. That stroller line is pricey, but the research I did says it will hold up. We found a 2005 model on the net and got it for the price of the Volo, which is the next model down so a bit cheaper. Check out the website and you can see the differences between the different models.

I REALLY LOVE my Inglesina Swift umbrella stroller. I got it last year and it still looks new. It is extremely durable, easy to carry, easy to clean, and comfortable for my daughter (whose now 3). The wheels aren't the smallest kind either--they are mid-size and manuever very well. You can get this at some stores or on the internet for about $120.
I used to have a MacLaren Volo but it did not hold up well (we travel a bit) and the seat doesn't recline on that one, so for $100 I think it was a waste of money.
Good luck!

We needed a smaller stroller than our Graco Travel System and as I couldn't decide what to get, we purchased the Kolcraft Umbrella stroller for $20. I was so surprised to love it as much as I do. It is now our primary stroller - my 12 month old likes to sit in it in the house too. It doesn't recline but our son sleeps in it quite comfortably and it has a sin canopy. It is really great on steps and round the neighbourhood and wheels really well.
