Before you seek out home remedies CALL your doctor to let her know that your symptoms have not entirely abated. In some cases meds have to run for longer, or a different kind needs to be added. They don't know that the first round didn't do the trick unless you call.

Also.. secondary infections can set in while your immune system is busy with the first... So please, give 'em a call to go in tomorrow!

Is this hand foot & mouth? Ask your doc for "magic swizzle mouthwash" for you and see if they can gove you similar (no lidocaine) for him.
The bliters DO take a long time to go away. My son's foot blisters were way wrse than his mouth, so I dabbed the magic mouthwash on his feet!
I think it's Maalox, lidocaine & benadryl? Nothibng you should try to duplicate yourself!

S.,
Get yourself some "pink honey", you'll find it at a pharmacy or maybe a health food store. Regular honey won't help, it has to be the pink one. Not all pharmacies carry it but call your pharmacy and find out. Then just with a Q-tip put some pink honey on the sores about three times a day or more if you need to. It will certainly help.
Blessings

You should double check with your son's nurse but I made a mixture of mylanta and bendryl to help with the sores ....it also helped when he had a bad case of streph that infected his glands. Just put the mixture together for his weight....

When my kids had this, our doctor said that unfortunately it just takes time for it to work its way out..... and to do your best to make sure that they don't get dehydrated. I feel for you. Good luck.

Hi S.:

I recommend that you explore this further in a consultation with a healthcare practitioner. In the interim, try ginger or peppermint tea to soothe the stomach and other gastrointestinal organs. Place one drop of tea tree essential oil on the blister, 3 times per day. These are suggestions, consider the consultation.

All the best,
