I know. I know.. perms are very old school. But I am looking for a hairstylist in the everett, mill creek, woodinville area that gives good body perms. Its hard to find someone who won't ruin your hair but will help in the volume department. If you have any good recommendations, they are welcome.. Thanks in advance!

Check with Barclays in S. Everett(4th and 112th). They are a little spendy but they do a wonderful job. My middle daughter (age 27)won't trust anyone else with her hair. They did her hair and all of her brides maids and maid of honor. She all ways uses Ryan (even when she lived in Renton and now Marysville-she's very picky!). I my self use him (when I can afford to go). I have him color, hilite and cut. My youngest (17)has used him to straighten and highlite hers.

Hi K.! Please call Amiee at Hairmasters on 128th/132nd next to Fred Meyer. The number is ###-###-####. Amiee is the manager and I have been a client of hers for 10 years!! She is also a mom and understands "mom-do's!" and Hairmasters is reasonably priced. If you sign up for their newsletters you will get monthly coupons (which you usually have a perm or coloring coupon). Best wishes!!!

My stylist who has her own beautiful salon with no smells or noises has been doing my body perms for over 8 years and I always love them. She is only $65 for the perms and $45 for the cuts. Debi Black "Champagne Designs" Kirkland.. ###-###-####.

Good Luck!

Sorry I'm late on this one...

My last four perms were done at various cosmetology schools. I like getting them there because you are taking part in teaching someone how to do great work, they are VERY closely monitored by instructors/professionals who have worked in the industry for years and years and the cost is just right for the pocket book. My last perm was only $35... and my hair is thin, but there is a LOT of it... it also doesn't take to perms well. At the time it fell past my bra strap, so they had to use those darn boomerang rods that make you look like you are from another planet. The last time I got a perm at a mall salon... it was about 6 years ago... I paid more than $150. I'll take a school over a salon any day.

I'm sure you've already had the work done that you needed, but it's something to keep in mind for the future.

K.,
I go to Salon Zeka in Kenmore ###-###-####. When I first met Nancy Zeka, the owner, 8 years ago, she took the time to ease my worries and listened to my concerns and gave me her recommendations...I have been with her ever since. I get cut and highlights which gives me control and body. Prices are resonable for excellent service. She is there Tues, Thurs and Fri. Tues is her late night.
Hope this helps.
M.
