I am looking for a new Pediatrician in the Lakeland area for my 3 1/2 year old son. The one we currently use just isn't cutting it. I want someone who takes their time to explain everything, is thorough, and doesn't rush me. I also do not like waiting for over an hour and a half to see the doctor when I have an appointment. Any recommendations? I appreciate any help I can get.
Try the nearest Pediatric Healthcare Alliance office. They are great. There is no wait and the Doctors take their time to answer all of your questions and explain everything to you. I take my 17 month old to the one in S. Tampa but after talking to other parents, the other offices are also great.
Dr. Cynthia Enlow at Clark and Daughtery is fantastic. I've never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes. She never rushes and is always willing to answer any question I have. She's great!

After being totally displeased with my daughter's pedi for MONTHS after she was born , I stumbled upon Dr. Dodds ( I think her 1st name is Teri ) who is AMAZING ... but to my utter disappointment , she left the practice to run her own emergency ( after hours' ) clinic in Lakeland ...

M., our pediatrician is the greatest, he always seems to be upbeat about everything and manages to always ease my mind about my kids. We've been with him for about 8 years and they are even open on Saturdays and Sundays. Hi M.. My pediatrician is awesome. Her name is Dr. Deborah Ford she is next to Bartow Hospital & her phone number is ###-###-####. She has been my pediatrician for 5yrs. and I love her and her staff. If I call with a question or concern, the nurse (Michelle) calls me right back and decides if it is serious enough to bring my child in or if we can fix it over the phone. They have worked me in on the same day several times and with a regularly scheduled visit I never wait longer than 10min. What can I say, my kids and I just love her!
We go to Lakeside Pediatric. They have a north and south office locations. We see Dr Matthew Corey for our 14 month old daughter. We had him recommended to us and he's been a part of out daughter's life since she was born. We have been two other times other than a scheduled check-up and they got us in fast.
