Parents Who Care will host a Spring & Summer Resale on Saturday, March 29th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Streamwood Park District Family Recreation Center, 550. S. Park Blvd., Streamwood (conveniently located South of Schaumburg Road, North of Irving Park Road, and West of Barrington). This new location is much larger and baby-sitting services will be provided by the Park District for anyone interested in selling or shopping at the sale. Breakouts, keynote speaker, raffles to take part in, a wonderful luncheon and the IOMOTC general session.

PHILANTHROPHIC NEWS: Once again IOMOTC is working on a unity project to raise funds for Cancer Research. Each club is asked to either fundraise within their clubs or to provide a flat donation to IOMOTC. Club presidents will soon be contacted with some interesting fundraising events that IOMOTC will be working on.
**Dollhouse Raffle: The doll house has been donated by Del Calderini and is valued at $3,500.00. The cost of the Raffle tickets will be $10.00 of 3 for $25.00.
Raffle Tickets were included in the recent SAGA.
**Lynn DaCosse will be performing once again. A date has not been chosen but watch for future information on this.
**Double Blessings 4th Annual Candlelight Bowl and Raffle ( a portion of the proceeds will do toward the State Philanthropic)

I am a member of Multiple Choice (a twin club). As I have only been in the club since November, there are resales a few times a year, but ours are in Lake Zurich. We also sometimes get information about other twin clubs that are having their resale. I have not been to any of them yet, but we just had one a few weeks ago. I believe the next one will be in the fall. I know there are other twin clubs that do this, but I would be happy to let you know about our next one when I get the information if you are interested.

I have been to this sale in the past & I have found some great deals on clothes and toys! It is worth the trip!

I'm not sure about Mundelein but Big Hollow School in Ingleside is hosting a clothing resale the first week in April, April 4-5. They will have spring clothing and gear to sell.

Craigslist is a fabulous resource for gently used clothes and toys. I bought probably half of my 1-year old daughter's Christmas presents off of it. For example, I got the LeapFrog Learning Table ($45.89 at Target) practically brand new for $10. There are Criagslist sites for most major cities, here is the link for Chicago's: http://chicago.craigslist.org/ I also see the sales such as the one you mentioned in your question post advertised in there.
