Does anyone know of a choral group including 1st grade (7 year old) girls? I can't seem to find anything. I know a couple of years ago, I saw something in the Richardson Community Recreation Newsletter. Any thoughts or suggestions? We live in Richardson, so north Dallas, Richardson, Addison, Plano or Garland area would be preferable.

If you are a member of a church I suggest the childrens choir. I know that when I was a child I started in the childrens choir at age 3. I dont know of any outside of churches for children that age though.

First Baptist Church of Richardson has a wonderful Children's Choir. I grew up in choir at FBCR and I am now 34! Great people run the children's choir program. The church is located at Arapaho and 75, big brown bricked church, can't miss it! Very close to the Richardson public library. Choir is on Sundays at 5pm. Good luck!
If you'd still like more non-church ideas, you might try to get in touch with the elementary music coordinator for Richardson ISD. (If they haven't cut the position in the current economy!) I was a music teacher there for a few years, and there are a lot of teachers who've been there for a long time and know all about that kind of stuff. I can't remember who it is right now, but you should be able to call the RISD main switchboard and ask.
I know The Heights has a children's choir starting at 3. I am not signing up my son yet.
