Seeking a Good Doc in Long Beach

Hi J.! Look up Dr. Tracy Kelvie, she is in Long Beach and her office is on the site of Memorial Medical hospital. There are also about 4 or 5 ob/gyn's there (all female!) that are all great! My name is S. M., im 27 yrs old, and she just delivered my first baby and I was extremely happy with her! She has also delivered a few of my friends babies and they all loved her. Good luck!

A little about my self: I'm a first time mom with a 4 month old. I had trouble looking for a GOB GYN as well. Dr. Taymour is in the long beach area and is very professional ###-###-####. His clinic is by appointment and the staff is great and very helpful. The good thing about his location is that it is just down the street from Long Beach Memorial hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Monica Leff. She's right across the street from LB Memorial. I have two friends whom I've recommend and are very happy with her. No wait time in the office and she's no-nonsense.

I recommend Carol Grabowski here in Bixby Knolls. Her office is across the street from Memorial Hospital.

She has her own practice - she is a sensitive woman with a gentle touch. And she loves the babies! I strongly recommend her.

LONg Beach Ob/gyn group on Columbia street is fantastic! been with them 10 years and not in Long beach anymore. They have women drs. but the entire office is AMAZING!!!!

I really like my obgyn group Long Beach OBGYN. Their # is ###-###-####. They don't take HMOs. I liked the group of all women and one man, and they were wonderful throughout my pregnancy. I had Dr. Reddy deliver my baby and it was terrific even with the complications that occurred. She was warm, professional, kept me up-to-date on everything and would love to have her deliver my second, when that happens. Hope that helps, good luck and welcome to Long Beach!

I've been seeing Dr. Sandra Makela for 6 or 7 years now and last year she delivered my first child. Great doctor and great office. Her office is right across the street from Long Beach Memorial. Her number is ###-###-####.

Dr. Cynthia Chao is my vote. She saw me through 4 pregnancies and has a great staff. She is easily accessible and has great information about starting a family. I went to 2 other obgyns before her before I decided to have my family with her.

I am with Tracy Kelvie who works with Makela and Leff - they are all amazing but Tracy takes the cake. She is caring and wonderful and has never rushed through my appt. I Highly recommend this office of amazing women docs.

I've been going to Dr. Sandra Makela for about 8 years now. She's a gynecologist and OBGYN. She's located right outside Long Beach Memorial Hospital off of Atlantic. She delivered my first baby and I'm currently pregnant again due in July. She's a wonderful doctor, very warm, understanding and experienced. I have referred her to two other girlfriends and both have just had their babies delivered by her. Her office is a all female dr's office (4 other OB's work there). Receptionists & nurses are friendly, great overall office atmosphere. My mother & sister (Dr. Makela delivered her baby too!) both go to her as well. The best thing about Dr. Makela is she's always there to answer questions, no matter what time of day, she will call you back, not a nurse. She was on her day off when I went into labor and came in to deliver my little one. Please feel free to email me back if you have any questions.

I have a male Dr and am envying all my friends with female Dr's -- I do feel they are better for this particular/ specific profession-- Dr Leilani Woodson is young and part of a group of women and she is awesome! Young with 2 kids and brilliant!

Dr Endo is great too----alot of my girlfriends go to her and are so happy always!!!! Especially through their pregnancies!

I LOVE Dr. Tracy Kelvie. I've been seeing her for at least 15 years and she has delivered both of my children. I can't even list all the wonderful things about her, she is that great.
