I now have Blue Cross. I would like someone that is good with eye-contact, personable, friendly and listens well. Thanks for any suggestions.

My OBGYN is Dr. Kaleb who is part of a 4 female doctor OB practice group near LB Memorial. She is wonderful, respectful, delivered my daughter beautiful, calls on time, and spends time with you on each office visit. Highly recommended. I LOVE Dr. Tracy Kelvie and that's an understatement. She has ALL of the qualities you're looking for and MORE! I have Blue Cross as well and Dr. Kelvie is a preferred provider. I've been with her for about 15 years and I won't change my insurance because I don't want to risk losing her. She also relates to moms as she has two young girls of her own. Dr. Kelvie is amazing! I adore my ob/gyn.... her name is Phyllis Oster, and she is with Muth and Weber, over at Long Beach Memorial.
She is a sweet and gentle lady, and a great doctor, to boot!

I see Dr. Makela in LB. She is right next door to LB Memorial Hospital and is wonderful. In fact I started going to her after recommendations from this site after I asked your same question! Highly recommend her.

THE BEST and the two she practices with are great too (both men) and the other Dr they rotate with delivered my baby (they used to practice together before he sropped insurance Dr Lam (male) all are supherb-I am looking forward to delivering in Dec!

I prefer a DR that delivers at Memorial over a smaller hospital just in case!
