Just moved to the Northeast side of Frisco from out of state. In search of a good and personable pediatrician for my two year old daughter. Any recommendations?

What can I do next?

I had to make a switch 1 year ago also and found Dr. Thai of Stonebriar Pediatrics to be absolutely wonderful. No concern was ever brushed aside or belittled (there's a lot to be said for that). After-hours phone calls are returned immediately and never with the "oh, it's you again" attitude. Very conservative with prescription meds especially antibiotics. Although he obviously has a standard line of care, he is very flexible and open to parents wishes and wants. Wait time is extremely reasonable. He is located off of Parkwood and Warren (behind stonebriar mall). LOVE HIM! and the staff.

We also use Dr. Paruolo. He's actually in The Colony off 423, just south of North Colony Dr (in the Trinity North Medical building), but I think he'll be worth the drive for you. We started seeing him when my daughter was born (she turned 4 in April), and she absolutely adores him. My son is almost 2, and the only thing he doesn't love about going to the doctor is the shots (of course).
Dr. Paruolo is very friendly and interacts really well with the kids, and he listens to his moms and has never blown off any of my concerns. The thing that I like about him the most is that when we go for an appointment, it's with him--not a random doctor in the office who happens to free up, and not a nurse. Also, for after-hours calls, it's either Dr. Paruolo or Dr. Stellman that you speak with--not a nurse. Nothing against nurses, but let's face it; they're not doctors!

Hi. I have heard great things about Dr. Deborah Bain, Healthy Kids Pediatrics in Frisco. I understand she uses a holistic approach. She has a website www.HealthyKidsPediatrics.com
I'm in Flower Mound but might make a visit there someday! Good Luck!
