We love Dr Scott Katz at Plano Pediatrics - across Coit from Plano Medical Center. He is so good with my boys, very patient, takes his time answering my questions, and it's not usually difficult to get in to see him (or one of his PAs). They usually get you in and out in a very timely fashion. They also offer a walk-in clinic in the mornings and evenings.

I take both of my kids to Dr. Paruolo in The Colony. Dr. Stellman is the other pediatrician in the office and I've seen him as well when the kids have been sick. I would highly recommend both of these pediatricians. Their office number is ###-###-####

We see Dr. Susan Sickler or Dr. Kimberly Mehendale at Willowbend Pediatrics in Plano. I like them both! Both of these ladies really take time with you and your child.

I love my pediatrician, Dr. Rhonda Merchant, at Legacy Pediatrics. They are located at Coit and Legacy in Plano. She is fabulous and I like her associate, Dr. Suresha Mutyala. We have followed Dr. Merchant through 4 locations. We started seeing her when my son was 8 months old and my daughter was 5. All my kids love her and beg to go to the doctor for the least little thing. She remembers their interests and talks to them and makes them feel special. I just can't say enough about Dr. Merchant.

i have two pedi doctors i really like for my girls.one is anisa ahmed ,she is located on spectrum dr in richardson.she doenot mind if you come talk to ''interview'' her.she is also a mother of several children so she always looking for the meds with best results.my insurance changed so i had to leave her office.geroge salomon is on custer rd off parker behind kroger.he is a older dr who prefers a more cautious approach who if you have questions over your child ,will personlly answer your call.most drs do not talk to parents ,they send the nurse.he if your child is in hospital will make rounds if needed.his office wil try best to help ypu regarding time for appts.they did not have a problem over immunzations being excempeted over 4 yr mmr shotsthru state of texas.my 5 old is mildly austic so 4yr shots were out of question for her and baby sis.i hope this was helpful.we are are orginially from west texas i know about starting new again.also we love dr lisa genecov for a developmental pedi located at medical city of dallas.

I highly recommend Dr. Hodge and believe that any one of the doctors at Cook Childrens in Lewisville is worth checking out. We, see Dr. Julie Hodge and absolutely love her! She is one of three doctors there (I think) and Dr. Peak is the other dr we've seen. I have never felt rushed and the staff is great. We have followed the recommended immunization schedule and haven't had any problems, so I couldn't really advise on a flexible schedule.

P.S. when my son thinks that he is sick because of a cough and sometimes even a sneeze he tells me to take him to Dr. Hodge because she makes him all better.

Lake Lewisville Pediatrics - Both Dr. Levy and Dr, Elhence are wonderful, thorough, pediatricians, but seem to have the gift of knowing when it is really nothing at all (my kids are older teens now). We have been with them since the kids were little. They call Dr. Levy "Dr. Lovey" because they love her so much. But we love Dr. Elhence as much!

The office is very responsive and well-trained. The nurses are great and quick to respond to questions and concerns. WE love them. Their number is ###-###-####.

Hello! The pediatric group we use here in Lewisville is Lake Lewisville Pediatrics and we see Dr. Glen Ogden. We really like him. He is patient and thourough. We haven't been going there that long but we were impressed from the first meeting with him. In fact, I found the group here on the Mamasource reviews which were all excllent. Their website is: http://www.llpediatrics.com/. Not sure where you are in Lew. but they are at 3040 and Edmonds which is really close for us. The group here in Lewisville that we went to initially upon moving here was MD Pediatrics. This is just MY OPINION but I did not like it much at all. I was never comfortable with the docs and the place never seemed updated or neat. The rooms were not childproofed well and my son was able to get out of the door easily. Also, the docs rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning for various reasons. I have worked in the medical field for several years so maybe my standards are too high. But whatever it is I just didn't feel comfortable there. HTH!

We take our 17 month old daughter to Lake Lewisville Pediatrics. The three doctors there are Elhence, Levy, and Ogden. While Dr. Elhence has been her doctor since she was born, we have seen all three doctors in the past year and really love all of them. They have Saturday hours and their on-call nurse is EXTREMELY helpful in the evenings and over the weekend.

As far as immunization schedule is concerned, I'm not sure on how flexible they are? I'm not sure what kind of luck you will find with that, given that most offices are pretty strict on wanting children in and out of their offices to be current...that's just what I've found. I have no clue on that one. But the office itself (staff and doctors) -- I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Lake Lewisville Pediatrics on Edmonds, close to 3040. Dr. Elhence has been my children's dr since birth. We followed her from her 2 previous locations. She helped save my oldest daughters life. All 3 of my children love her.
Dr. Elhence has 2 young children and has always been honest with me on her feelings about vacinations when I have asked her. However, we have never been behind on a required vacination.

I use Dr. Mehendale at Willow Bend Pediatrics and LOVE her. She is a mom herself (in mid 30s I would guess) and her husband is a pediatric ENT. She always gives me whatever time I need and is very sweet to my 3 girls. She doesn't work everyday because she stays at home with her kids so check her schedule. She is a very real, understanding mom/doctor who trust a mother's instinct.

Without a doubt, Dr. Bain in Frisco is the best we have found. She beats to her own drum and makes sure our lil' ones are truly healthy. www.healthykidspediatrics.com

I absolutely can NOT say enough GREAT things about this office. You will be surprised at her support on alternative vaccine schedules....she will be the first to tell you your child is not healthy enough for vaccines today...even though there may be NO fever or sign they are not healthy....she looks at the core of the child....I love her and the staff.

You may want to consider going to Denton and seeing Dr. Amy Adams. Her office is near Plano Presby and she is wonderful. Very down to earth, not rushing, and doesn't have that "I'm the doctor and you're an idiot parent" attitude.

I agree with Eren T, my 2 daughters see Dr. Julie Hodge at the same practice and we absolutely love her. We have never seen the other doctor but like Eren said, the staff is very professional and friendly. Dr. Hodge is very patient and has answered every question I have especially when I was an anxious first time mommy! Good luck with your search.

We've been going to Willowbend Pediatrics in Plano off the tollway! It is GREAT! They have a well child and sick child area. If my child is sick he is seen that day. Our wait is NEVER more than 5-10 mins. Also, I am a first time Mom and the Dr always listens to any issues and has NEVER judged with any mistakes I have made. She/they are wonderful!!
We see Dr. Mehendale.

We use Dr. Sandra Peak in Lewisville and absolutely love her! She is part of Cook Childrens, and is over by the Target on Hebron (in the building with Carter's). I never feel rushed, and her staff is great. I have seen the other 2 doctors there as well, and I like both of them too. I am not totally sure about the immunization schedule, since we just follow the recommended one, but I think she is worth checking out.

I really like Dr. Richard Rivera from Kid Docs in Carrollton. They are just past Trinity Medical Center on Josey lane. I am not as crazy about his partner Dr. Beamer. The front office staff are great and Dr. Rivera returns his own calls not a nurse.

I do not know what his position is on an alternate schedule. He is pretty laid back about other stuff.

I highly recommend doing interviews and get a feel for the front office. You will deal with them more than the doctor. I left Dr. Bain's old practice in Carrollton/Lewisville b/c her staff was so bad not b/c she was. A good doctor is worthless if you have to fight the office to get to him or her.

Also, my best friend LOVES Dr. Parulo (Dr. Bill) but dislikes his partner. I have never heard a negative thing about Dr. Bill or the front office.
