Seeking Pediatrician in Plano/Lewisville/Frisco Area

I live in Lewisville and am seeking a pediatrician that is located in Plano/Lewisville/Frisco area. I want someone who is nurturing, flexible with immunization schedules, and takes lots of time to answer mom's questions. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

We love Dr Scott Katz at Plano Pediatrics - across Coit from Plano Medical Center. He is so good with my boys, very patient, takes his time answering my questions, and it's not usually difficult to get in to see him (or one of his PAs). They usually get you in and out in a very timely fashion. They also offer a walk-in clinic in the mornings and evenings.

I take both of my kids to Dr. Paruolo in The Colony. Dr. Stellman is the other pediatrician in the office and I've seen him as well when the kids have been sick. I would highly recommend both of these pediatricians. Their office number is ###-###-####

I really like Dr. Richard Rivera from Kid Docs in Carrollton. They are just past Trinity Medical Center on Josey lane. I am not as crazy about his partner Dr. Beamer. The front office staff are great and Dr. Rivera returns his own calls not a nurse.

I do not know what his position is on an alternate schedule. He is pretty laid back about other stuff.

I highly recommend doing interviews and get a feel for the front office. You will deal with them more than the doctor. I left Dr. Bain's old practice in Carrollton/Lewisville b/c her staff was so bad not b/c she was. A good doctor is worthless if you have to fight the office to get to him or her.

Also, my best friend LOVES Dr. Parulo (Dr. Bill) but dislikes his partner. I have never heard a negative thing about Dr. Bill or the front office.

We use Dr. Sandra Peak in Lewisville and absolutely love her! She is part of Cook Childrens, and is over by the Target on Hebron (in the building with Carter's). I never feel rushed, and her staff is great. I have seen the other 2 doctors there as well, and I like both of them too. I am not totally sure about the immunization schedule, since we just follow the recommended one, but I think she is worth checking out.
The office number is ###-###-####.

We've been going to Willowbend Pediatrics in Plano off the tollway! It is GREAT! They have a well child and sick child area. If my child is sick he is seen that day. Our wait is NEVER more than 5-10 mins. Also, I am a first time Mom and the Dr always listens to any issues and has NEVER judged with any mistakes I have made. She/they are wonderful!!
We see Dr. Mehendale.
Here is the link. Good Luck!

North Dallas Pediatrics is excellent. They have an office in Plano and in Frisco.

I agree with Eren T, my 2 daughters see Dr. Julie Hodge at the same practice and we absolutely love her. We have never seen the other doctor but like Eren said, the staff is very professional and friendly. Dr. Hodge is very patient and has answered every question I have especially when I was an anxious first time mommy! Good luck with your search.

I recommend Dr. Rupal Chiniwalla at the Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton (Josey & Hebron). Her number is 9772-###-###-####.

You may want to consider going to Denton and seeing Dr. Amy Adams. Her office is near Plano Presby and she is wonderful. Very down to earth, not rushing, and doesn't have that "I'm the doctor and you're an idiot parent" attitude.
