Ok ladies, I feel better getting my political monkey off my back! Speaking of monkeys, ms dawn asked where my screen name spidermonkey came from. Well, I have a twin sister and when we were little my mom would hold my sister and my older sister would hold me. Well I would hang on so tight to her she didn't have to put her arms around me and could basically put her arms to her side and I would hang on. My mom said I looked like a spidermonkey hanging on a tree! Ever since I've been called spidermonkey! I used to hate it but I don't mind now. They all swear they didn't start it because I looked like a monkey :) I think otherwise!! So, do you have a nickname? Do you like it or hate it? Why did you choose your name on here?

What can I do next?

My kids LOVE Dr. Seuss and we read it daily. So.. I am Sam I am! hehe

PS... the baby's nickname has been Stinky Poo lately b/c she has the stinkiest poop ever! She stinks the whole upstairs up when she wakes up from her nap - it is awful. So I always greet her with "Stinky Poo!" and she gives me the biggest smile ever as if she knows she stinks that bad!

I chose my screenname because I was a "mama to be" when I first got on this site. We lost our baby at 12 weeks, and we wanted a baby so bad (still do). I teared up one day when I was trying to think of a new name, but I realized that even though I'm not currently pregnant, I'm still a Mama2B!!

Before I was married my email and screen names were all "spiralhead" (because of my very curly hair, not a testament to my mentality.) :)

After I was married, I was just SO excited to be a wife that I started using mrslavallie...as in Mrs. L., my formal married name...and I just stuck with it. :)

I had my first name and initial of my last name until someone posted how they were being stalked and that freaked me out since I have an unusual name and I own a business. Since you can just google me and my website with all my info pops up I decided to change it to a nickname so I'm a little harder to find. =)

Mz Kitty is what my hubby calls me when I'm being sexy/sassy! =) LOL!!!

I have often wondered if you gave yourself Bella's nickname. :) Now we know the real reason! (And I am Cullen obsessed too - rereading Breaking Dawn now so I'll remember everything in November when the movie comes out. ha ha)

Mine is because I teach dance to kids and when my daughter was 2 or 3 , she replied "mommy loves kids" when someone asked her what her mommy's job was. :)

Every time I see your screen name I always think of that one part from the movie Twilight when Edwards shows off his tree climbing skills while Bella is on his back.

I HATE my family's nickname for me, enough to not share it. Believe me, you would have nightmares about it ifyou knew. I'm doing you guys a favor, its that bad.

Neptune was a nickname of mine, I practically went by it soley for a year or so. A drummer in a band I helped promote gave it to me ... his was Mars! I used it when I went places where I rather not use my actual name or at band shows ... it added mystique and it was just plain fun.

I've had a few screen names over the years. but coree moonlyte has stuck with me for a long time. I love the night sky and the moon is Gods flashlight for us. coree is just slang version of name Cori/C., my daughter spelled my name this way when names ending in ee was the fad: Sheree, Mandee, Sadee, Cryssee and so on, lol.

Then when my younger cousin came along she couldn't say becky.. as she called me bucky. My dad still calls me bucky baby.

I call my kids by thier nick names alot. My oldest is starting to come around to his... buckwheat. When he was younger he watched the little rascals alot and he asked to be called buckwheat and it stuck with him. My other two have been pooper and booger since they were little. Im sure someday they will out grow them, and we will have to stop calling them that, but Im still not sure they will out grow the reasons they got it! ;)

PS - don't leave us hanging like a Spidermonkey! We're almost family here!
My parents nicknamed me BooBoo. My dad also called me Bimbo. To this day, I don't know why, and can't ask him :( But I get a kick out of remembering it.
My daughter's nickname is Nugget...when she was about two and getting better with talking, she told my husband that she wanted chicken nuggets for dinner. Like all men, he looked in the freezer and said "I can't find the nuggets!" Lo and behold, this little 2 year old went to the freezer and immediately pointed them out.

I love nicknames. When I was little my mama called me Little Bean, or Beano Balino. It is a VERY silly take on the word "bambino".

Since then I haven't had a nickname. Just my first name. My actual name fits me better and more fully than a nickname ever could. My family and close friends will call me by the first syllable of my name as an endearment.

The name I use on mamapedia is one that is a *little* similar (in sound) to my real name. Just thought it a decent name to use for this site...I've grown a bit attached!
