Do You Have a Nickname? Other than the Obvious 'Mom' :)
Just for fun :)
My nickname when I was little was 'Ra-doo' because my cousin next door couldn't say 'R.'.
Then, for forever, my nickname was 'Red'... my initials spell red, and I happen to have red hair :)
Obviously, I've been called 'Rach'...
My dad, for WHATEVER weird, unknown reason, always calls my mom (whose name is Patricia) 'Norman'. So cute.
I used to do it accidently, but now I am the ONLY person allowed to call my husband 'Bert' (his name is Robert, but goes by Rob)
My kids: Emily (Emmy), Madison (Madi, although when she was born, Emmy called her 'Sonny', LOL!), and Romanov, and we call him Roman :)
What about you? Do you have a nickname? Do you have a nickname for your husband? What about your kids?
So What Happened?™
Sorry Spidermonkey, was that when I didn't have power for a week? Then yes, I missed it, LOL ;)
ETA: My dad always called me R. Liz (middle name is Elizabeth), or monkey doodle :)

My 21/2 year old has given me a nick name of "KiKi". For some reason he has always called me this no matter how much I have tried to get him to call me mommy. I don't know where he got the name from. There are rare instances that he will call me mommy but the majority of the time, I am "KiKi".

my second family(best friends) calls me Liiblet...why who knows.
My oldest is...bubba, bubby, bro, monk, monk a moo, bubbsy
middle.....guy guy, ger, ger ge, GeeGee, mop top(because he has a mop of blonde curls we are in the process of dreadlocking)
youngest....zman, zz top, monkey man, monkamoo
hubby is babe....well no....everyone is babe. so, saying just him is not right. I call everyone babe, sweetie or hun...I dont know why. I tend to get a better vibe outta people when i do this. makes me feel like everyone is family..even if i dont know you:)
I guess i need to come up with a nick for the hub that is not so random....I do refer to him as my lobster.....because of the episode of friends where Phebee says...''ah she loves him, he is her lobster''..or something to that effect.
I call my mom G'thug to the G'nug. She is a teacher at a pretty rough middle school near me. She is always telling me tales of things her gangsta students do...so I thought the name was suiting and it stuck for good...six years strong now:)

We tend to call people chickens / noodles / little chicken or chicken noodles around here for some reason. It only JUST now occurred to me that chicken noodle is a soup. The names don't reflect that though!
