I'm a SAHM with a 20 month old son. I'm looking for a "pen pal" with another mom. Does anyone know of any websites that offer something like this? Or, does any moms on here want to be pen pals? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Not sure exactly what you are looking for? If you have a local ECFE or other early childhood education, they might have classes for you and your child. Another great way to connect w/moms is through a MOMS Club, MeetUp group, MOPS (Christian), or other local moms group located in your area. (Use Google to search them out.) I live near Duluth, MN, and we have some moms that live up to an hour away in our group; our MeetUp Moms group has an online forum for support along with in-person meetings and playgroups. Of course, churches and such are always great ways to connect with others as well.

I've never heard of a penpal program per se.

Good luck to you!

This is a website that I got involved with when I was looking for penpals for my 9 yr old granddaughter. They also have teens and adults. Perhaps you could find someone compatible here. I did have to print out a registration form and pay $5 and she sent us 10 names and addresses and even gave us two more to replace letters that came back to us as undeliverable as addressed. Wendy is a very nice lady and we have had much success with her website. My granddaughter has 5 penpals and we are still hoping that more of the original 10 will write back. http://www.friendship-by-mail.com/inky-trail-news.html

I know of some really good websites for mom's. It's not a pen pal thing but it's lots of discussions, groups, debates, conversations. There are tons of groups to cater to different mom's with different interests. You can set up a page, post pics of your kids etc. I'm an admin. for one of the groups on there. I'm on the website several times a day. I never get bored with it. I'm in groups specifically with mom's who have kids my age etc..
